Man United are where Liverpool were a few years ago.

The 1 good thing about this season is we get too watch the scouse meltdown when they fall apart during there annual bottle, that season where they were pretty much nailed onto win it till captain fantastic slipped and cost will live long in my memory

Had there title parade all organised, tshirts being sold with the words champions wrote on it.

and here we are now, the Liverpool fans are crawling everywhere celebrating winning the league.

Liverpool deserved the win, United's only goal was from a slip-up (literally).
United's first near-goal was odd though, that "offside even though nobody touched it" rule is crazy.

I wonder if Mourinho is going to utilise the transfer window that's coming up?
Not sure it'll help though, he seems to have a knack of ruining world-class players.

Wow. I honestly didn't think the board would do it.

Probably going to give it to Carrick/McKenna till the end of the season?

(Edit - Looks like they said it will be an external appointment, so that rules them out, I guess.)

Also lol @ Pogba still causing issues even after Jose gets sacked.

United are going to have to hope Solskjaer has improved from his Cardiff City days. Luck will help a great deal too, of course.

I guess he isn't really under as much pressure as he could have been, so it's a win-win situation for him.

I think Solskjaer is a good call, at least he has a genuine passion and love for the club.
The next few months are going to be interesting for sure.

Someone posted on social media that he'll be a great manager... for the last 3 minutes of every game :P

I used to love it when he and Sheringham were brought on towards the end of matches, always provided a real boost.

Cardiff were in a bad position when he went there... and he managed to make it worse.

At Molde both before and after his Cardiff stint he's done well, though Molde is the 2nd richest team in Norway so their situation is more similiar to Man utd than to Cardiff.

At Molde the midfielders have had very important roles in their attacking play, which is something united have been lacking under Mourinho. Additionally over the years they've been using several youth players from their own academy; something that also is high on the list of things man utd pride themselves in.

All in all it seems like a move to gain supporters faith back, at least for the remainder of the season.

Long term the reappointment of Mike Phelan, who David Moyes got rid of in his first season, and more importantly hiring a director of football will be more vital to the clubs general management.

Just read that Ole could get the job permanently if things go well.

There's a couple of (theoretically) not-too-difficult of games over the next week or so to see if there's an improvement.
