Why does Phil Jones still play for Manchester United?

I honestly think he's up there for worst defender in the league. He hasn't improved since he's been there, and looks way out of his league. His consistency at being terrible is impressive in of itself, I'll give him that.

I've never rated Jones, he's slow and clumsy.

Another awful display last night, I'm quietly dreading this weekend's game against Liverpool.

Normally I'd be pretty confident in your as it'd be a perfect game for Mourinho in the past but he just hasn't been himself for a while now

Chris Smalling signed a new contract and a lot of United fans aren't happy. I mean, he's average at best, but he's been their only really consistent centre-back. He should only be a squad/back-up player at best though.

It really says something about the current quality of Manchester United that mediocre players like Chris Smalling are getting rewarded with long term contracts.

Good god yesterday was cold, had my works xmas party that night so went to the game in just a polo top with 1 thin tshirt underneath and I don't think I've ever felt that cold in my entire life!

The football didnt help much! a scrappy game perfect for stoke and there " cold tuesday night against stoke " saying they probably edged it but a draw wasn't too much of an unfair result

7 unbeaten now, onto Leeds and its a must win if we want to be anywhere near the top 2



Uniteds line up is interesting, Liverpools defence is there for united too attack at but will be interesting too see how the game goes, uniteds defence against Liverpools attack doesn't look great O_o

If Liverpool were less sloppy, Manchester United could have conceded ten or more goals today.

Mourinho really should be gone, but I doubt it, not until they are knocked out of the Champions League.

Ryan Giggs tearing into Lukaku was funny too.
