2-1 win, not a great performance, not a game that matters.

Sterling can't afford to be that wasteful though in a major tournament
Shaw, Williams, prepared to venture down the left. There’s a good ball in for Tony Morley. Oh, it must be... It is... Peter Withe !

Cristiano Ronaldo, take a bow

The GOAT

World Cup has been pretty boring up until that game, even with a couple of late winners and a 5-0 hammering by Russia

The quality hasn't been there, great game between Spain and Portugal though, topped by a hat trick from the GOAT himself

Cracker of freekick from Kolorov today

While writing this Germany are 1-0 down too Mexico with 2 minutes left, been a great game, the World Cup has really come to life the past few days

Loved Iceland getting a draw against the Argies too, Messi missing a pen giving ammo for the Ronaldo fanboys like myself, haha

Buzzing for the England game tomorow now, praying we can turn up for once.

The final whistle has gone! Mexico have won, fairplay to them! really took the game to Germany.

Brazil up next

Up steps Coutinho, doing what he did a lot at Liverpool, another contended for the goal of the tournament

Won't get rated as highly because you expect it from him.

On the bright side, that goal gets me off minus points on dream team haha

Well thats Egypt, Morroco and Saudi Arabia sent home

3, 1-0 wins today for the "comfortable" favourites

None of them seemed comfortable though.

As for England on Monday, a deserved win, played well, specially 1st half, controlled the game in most parts and denied 2 clear penalties, think its time we bring in VAR......

On paper we should be through Sunday, looking forward too it, on the piss ma'lord

Forgot about this with watching all the football recently :O

England into the knockouts, yesterdays game showed absolutley nothing, except maybe Belgiums 2nd team is better than Englands 2nd team, oh well

Suppose the "route" we have now is the "easier" of the 2 but by NO MEANS easy, Columbia will be a difficult game, however if they play like they did against Senegal I think England should win, then It'll be the swiss or swedes for a chance to make the semis

That would be a great tournament for England and while we're still in it theres always a slight hope

Ronaldo seems to be getting strongly linked with a move to Juventus

No idea where Grealish will end up
