Yes I remember the term `blue rinse brigade`, a lot of older women tinted their grey hair blue, and it became an analogy for the affluent older women who supported the Conservative Party and served on committees etc.
Great song!!

I won't show my busted up leg lol. It may scare a few people and you may have nightmares.
The bike has now been fixed up and as good as new.
Was on a 150 mile ride yesterday to see if my mojo had gone. I did struggle to ride it for a while. Especially on the snakey roads lol. Got home safe and well. Enjoyed the ride but my poor old bones sure know about it today.

The real question is how did you come off and get into that incident?
I hit a patch of gravel that had built up side of the road I was trying to use and whoppps down I went. No avoiding it. It's a bad thing for bikes. You can't see it till you are on it and thats just bad luck.
loose gravel... not nice on roads. only thing you can really do is try to look ahead and anticipate but I suppose it isn't always the easiest of things to notice either.
or... did u really just grab the front break whilst you were leaning?
I'd come off the brakes front and back which have ABS 20-30 feet before as I was slow enough for the roundabout which I've done many many times before. Then slight acceleration and I mean slight and bang down like a sack of spuds.
