We're going to have the thinner pancakes that are more like crepes...I plan to have mine with nutella or maybe a drizzle of golden syrup and my husband will have his with lemon and sugar. He's never eaten them with anything else and we've been married for a long time.

It's not your traditional "dessert crepe", but they're really good.
That sounds very tasty. We've got some mozzarella to use to make a lasagne later this week so if there's any left over I'll suggest this to my husband as a nice idea for lunch.
My daughter bought me a be a savory crêpe at the local crêpe restaurant on Sunday. An Avocado Crêpe with avocado, egg, bacon, tomato, cheese and lemon mustard.
Incredibly tasty!

I don't understand savoury pancakes/crepes
For me, its a sweet through and through! haha
The restaurant has two crêpe classifications, savory (more dinner like) and dessert. The same crêpes are used for both, so the savory crêpes are still sweet.
