I've just been watching the news reports about the chemical explosion in Lebanon.
Ye Gods! it was utterly shocking, akin to a nuclear blast, visually.

I feel so sorry for the Lebanese - barely recovering from an agonisingly long period of war which left the country impoverished - they have now had this horrific event which has not only left so many people dead, injured and homeless but which has also obliterated a major Port.

No doubt heads will roll over this incompetency (some are saying corruption) but this is cold comfort to those directly affected :(

Allegedly a fire started in a fireworks factory, which then led to thousands of tons of ammonium nitrate that had been confiscated and stored at the port for the past decade being ignited, causing the explosion.

Think grain silos were destroyed as well which considering the food problems isn't good.

On more trivial matters property I'm working at had the black bin stolen last week.

Neighbour saw them take it and asked them what they're doing apparently I'd said they could borrow it as the property was empty..

They live further down the street so I go down two houses have two black bins no answe from either house. Council has no record of them ordering another and said take one and Mark it with house number. PCSO said the same.

So I did.

I think I picked the wrong one as some rubbish was in there and it looks like its been there for a long time. It's been a while since I smelt anything as bad as that nearly threw up cleaning it.

Hopefully they don't damage the house or my van when I'm there tomorrow as it's not the nicest of neighbourhoods but damned if I'm paying £30 for another bin.

I got my tablet up and running again so now I'm doing some drawing.

It's been a while and I've barely got the skeleton of it together but so far I think it's turning out ok lol
