It's not possible for me to call your post hate speech. I haven't seen the article you're referring to, so really at present your post doesn't make all that much sense to me as there's insufficient information presented to make a judgement in this case.

I was thinking it was in california, but it was in St Louis.

https://www.kmov.com/news/st-louis-couple-seen-pointing-guns-at-protestors/article_afbb1b2c-b98e-11ea-ba7e-b3452007bfc8.html

Also, I did make a mistake thinking it was the state attorney, instead of the city. She said the protesters were peaceful and non threatening, yet in the video you hear them threatening to kill the couple, calling the crackers and such. The couple did nothing more than tell people to stay off their property, but the attorney things that is racist. I guess if your white, you have no right to tell blacks to stay off your property.

Note the people making the threats were not all black, and in fact the first ones were white. The ones to destroy the gate were white. YET two white couples holding guns telling people to move on while a video shows blacks in front of them is considered racist.

The protestors also claimed they were on the way to the mayor's home, but their path to the home was not through that development.

All speech should be allowed. The moment you give power on who determines what is good and bad speech, power gets abused.

I rather live in a world where people get offended, than live in a world where people determine what can and can't be said.

Freedom of expression is a fundamental human right. It reinforces all other human rights, allowing society to develop and progress. The ability to express our opinions and speak freely is essential to bring about change in society.

Freedom of speech does not equal freedom of consequence.

Correct, I think it is ok to say whatever you want - but be ready for any consequences.

So, say something back. You're free to say something back.

If anyone wants to counter speech by actions, be prepared for a reaction.
