I know it can be a bit annoying but...

New drivers who feel more comfortable at slower speeds.
Elderly drivers who feel more comfortable at slower speeds.
Drivers with loads of points on their license who would get a ban if they pick up more points.
People with underpowered cars (particularly on hills)
Who's the cat that won't cop out when there's danger all about?

This comment fascinates me.

Apparently, you think that 'normal' people should regularly break the law, and that speed LIMITS are not, in fact, limits at all, just kind of advisory suggestions.

People like you are the reason for more accidents and more road deaths.

Better safe than sorry though??

Like I know someone who would start honking their horn, flashing lights and going very near the front car because they are '' slow ''. There's an issue when you encounter these type of peeps though..

My Mum is elderly - nearly 80 years young - and is a culprit of slow driving.

I remember that she offered to drive me to a hospital appointment a few years ago, to save me from paying exorbitant parking fees. The speed limit was 60 km/h en route and she was doing 40 km/h during peak hour. I was already stressed about the appointment but her driving was the final straw. She was making peak hour traffic worse and some drivers took some rather dodgy manoeuvres to get around her. When I checked in for the appointment, a nurse questioned me about why my heart was racing and my blood pressure so high.

To be fair, my mother has never been a confident driver and with her becoming a frail old lady, it is hard for her to see over the steering wheel.

no i only do 5 over max im not talking 15-20 over while drinking. not at all anything like that so no people like me arent the reasons for accidents/deaths please dont compare this to something as serious as that my post was meant for lighthearted banter nothing dangerous like that

and most cops dont care about doing just 5 over ill drive in front of or behind or even pass a cop doing 5 over im not being reckless in any way

The thing that annoys me is people who go the same speed no matter the road conditions or speed limit. For example I was stuck behind someone on a clear dry day doing 40 mph in a 60 mph limit but when we reached a 30 mph stretch they carried on doing 40. O_o
