I watched "Monster", an anime based on the manga of the same name. Great series. If you are someone who enjoys anime with a more realistic twist, then that is a good series to try out. Be warned though, its long. The story is long and fleshed out, don't expect to have all the answers i the first few episodes.

I can't really give you any anime suggestions, mainly because I don't know what you're in to. I can throw up some random titles I enjoy, but I have a wierd, sick and twisted mind.
Also, to answer the question a few pages back about "cutest anime character"... Well gimme a few seconds...

Okay, I've managed to narrow it down. And the neko-obsessed part of me hates me right now, but I gotta say Nyu from Elfin Lead. Let's face it, a pink haired girl who can barely say anything other than Nyu, and has the mentality of a 5 years old? I'm sorry, but that's cute. Then she gets bumped in the head and people star getting ripped apart in gory, bloody, fun.
That and when she actually learns how to speak in the manga, she just get's sooooo much cuter.
Why couldn't they just go ahead and finish the story in the anime, they stopped at chapter 60 of 107. Seriously, it would have been about 8-10 more episodes?
Anyway, enough rambling. I'll just get off and come back tomorrow when I have nothing to do at 2 AM.
EDIT: To answer my own question, the anime kinda left out a character that becomes somewhat important after that. So unless they just awkwardly introduced her, they couldn't do the second part. Well, that and they kinda killed off one of the important characters, who doesn't die in the manga, in a giant fiery explosion that was still somewhat heart warming.

I know this is old news ^ yeah I guess Sgt.Frog is a bit childish in a way, but I love the jokes that kids wouldn't get :) . I watched Love Hina before Keroro, my dad still thought it was for children, although he didn't see the "pervy" bits when Keitaro always "accidently" walked in on someone..., just when Keitaro was studying. And that was the first "real anime" I watched after Pokemon (yes I know that's anime but everyone's seen it so...) Yeah anyway
What anime character in the cutest? Depends which direction you're considering lol..... Without the guys and girls, and just general cute, there's too many fluffy animals.. to choose from.. and I mainly like the cool looking ones. But umm..
almost anything that's chibi is 'cute'.... BTW Meowth was cute in 'Go West Young Meowth'... just saying

Finished watching Ouran High School Host Club. It was absolutely hilarious, imo, and the ending was one that I never would've expected. All throughout the anime it was light hearted and funny for the most part, and then in the end it becomes the exact opposite (serious and deep).

Papa no Iukoto wo Kikinasai and Rinne no Langrange are 2 fine shows aswell that are currently airing in my opinion.

Bakemonogatari is quite dialogue driven (plenty of wordplay) and has some unusual artwork. I personally love it but if you are still not sure , then just give it an 1 episode try and see for yourself.

Just seen the PV of Accel World and I think that it does look promising. Except.. that male lead does look a bit.. Different.

Naruto is getting INSANE! I used to be a hater of Naruto, but now that I sat and watched it... it is my favorite story!
Favorite Characters??
Personally... Tendo Pain & (crazy for saying this...) Yakushi Kabuto.
I even had my name as "Wartime Pain" for a moment. I tried to have spiky hair like his and tried a headban too... I <3 Tendo Pain and Kabuto is like the Joker of the series... he is one step ahead of EVERYONE. He has become a real pain in the arse, but at the same time... a total bad-ass... even Tobi is weary of him.
