To be honest, I don't really like any of the anime/manga that gets thrown out nowadays. I prefer the older stuff. Cyborg 009. Zatch Bell. Yeah. I'm a wimp who doesn't like PvP.
I'll just be over here, minding my own business.

I'm currently watching Black Lagoon. It's a very good action series and I love the OP. ^_^

That's one of the most action-packed anime titles I've watched. But for those that are weak of heart, stay away. As language used in the anime is somewhat uncivilised in nature.

Finally had the chance to finish up Bakemonogatari. It was excellent, and me being a SHAFT fanboy, I really enjoyed it. The "cut scenes" (Where they seem to switch to writing from the book) was pretty interesting. Oh, and I definitely love Hitagi Senjogahara. She's like... Yandere + Tsundere + Kuudere. She's also possibly yangire.
I'll be finishing up Saint Seya: The Lost Canvas, Nodame Cantabile season 1, and Aquarion this week. Then, I'll try and find some random animes to watch. I should be finishing my incomplete list ( I have around 80 animes listed there.)
Strangely, I've been feeling the need to rewatch Ghost Hunt. I really enjoyed it and it gave me some scares. The tension was built up well and the arcs were good. I just wish that a second season could be produce to do further character explorations.

I can't believe my online anime store put The Girl Who Lept Through Time on sale, it's such a good movie! I can't miss this opportunity. ^_^ Now that I look at movies, Satoshi Kon's movies are on sale too. My wishlist keeps getting bigger and bigger...

So me being the big manly man I am, listening to heavy metal and playing vidya gaemz, I also happen to enjoy the seinen anime K-ON. Now, if you know me, which you don't, I enjoy other manly animes like Lucky Star and Ouran High school Host Club. K-ON is about 5 girls and their quest to being Rock and Roll LEGENDS, and the girls theres....;Yui, the girl whose abilities i wish I had, damn why is shhe so damn good, 1 year and she's better than me..NExt is Mio, shes timid and shy as HELL, and she has these to big things on her chest i don't know what they are, and she plays bass lefty! LEFTY, I should be playing lefty but I'm Ambidextrous, like a beast. Next is Ritsu, the drummer with too much damn energy, she seems like an ass to me but she's cool, I mean she is somehow the president of their band and club, damn, next is Azusa, the little kitten of the club of rock, and she suffers from Jimi Hendrix Disorder, damn I want that....and her pigtails Friken Genius. and now my favourite, Tsumugi, and blonde girl who plays keyboards, and beet beethoven and bach in a piano battle, twice..... she bakes like a godess and makes better tea than my ancestors, cool. Well anyway it starts with Yui beginning her first year and joing the klub of PURE ROCK.

Episode 9 of Madoka Magica. SPOILERS BEWARE
Lots of epicness in this episode.
First thing I have to say is, during the scene where Madoka and Kyubey commute, they switch to a view on chairs. Did anyone reminiscent Bokurano during then? Or was it just me?
So yeah, Kyubey spoiler[admits his plans which is for "balance" in the world. So... Earth is not the only planet with Mahou Shoujo* but the best choice because of human emotions.]
Other than the fight scene between spoiler[Kyoko and Sayaka's witch form] there were interesting revelations. Homura's spoiler[the ONLY Mahou Shoujo left, and the Walpurgisnacht thing is approaching. Kyubey mentions that she is not strong enough to defeat it/them.] The interesting part during that scene is Kyubey's speech, he said spoiler[Kyoko's sacrifice was not in vain. I can only imagine a huge disaster. Kyoko will return as a witch is my assumption.]
And people following this thread, if you have problems, Kyubey will gladly help you with them.

Also, Fractale ep 7 was interesting. Nice twist at the end too.

Well, i cant see Kyoko coming back as a witch since she dosent have a soul gem to be corrupted anymore. Jusging from her big 'sucks to be alone' speech, she killed the Sayaka-witch and blasted her own soul gem in the process, effectively committing suicide (22:58 if you've got gg's release).
As for what greater purpose her death will serve, my understanding is that because Homura alone isn't enough to fight Walpurgisnacht, thats going to force Madoka, being the only viable backup left, to make a contract with him.
So in the end, all her death does is help Kyubey out. Subject of, Kyubey is an alien, who woulda thunk it? i thought he was gonna be a witch/witches familiar or something, not an alien lol.

I haven't seen Madoka yet, but I just saw Fractale. It had a nice twist in the end, plus the city looked really nice. I like where the story is going to. :)
Edit: just wasted 20 mins of my life on I.S.

Yea, I rewatched some parts of Madoka Magica, and my thoughts are half assed whenever I post them. I can't remember for sure whether Soul Gems become Grief Seeds after being destroyed but from what I hear, it seems they need to be tainted (fully?) in order to become one.
Kyubey gave false hope to Kyoko and caused her to die. In the end...
Kyubey: Just as planned.
Homura's the only Mahou Shoujo left (in the city or world?) and she can't face Walpurgisnacht alone. Seems like the dream Madoka had is coming true. It also turns out that the witch in the dream is not Sayaka.

Oh yeah, IS ep 9... Was... not that enjoyable. I think they should have just made a random IS attack to make the story better. The only great thing about the episode was the fanservice, and the beginning. **** Laura arm locking Ichika = A jealous me. Oh, Charlotte in a bathing suit was nice too. The side effects of having a harem are showing up too.
Regarding Gosick, I'm not sure if it's me, but I think the show is... Not that interesting anymore. I mean, the character development is excellent, but the mysteries are just mediocre. I want challenging ones (the ones present are meh) and chances for the viewer to piece together the mystery rather than telling it straight away.
