Elfen Lied is an amazing yet violent and gory anime.
Canaan is all about the girls, the guns and the violence.
Clannad is mainly a "love" plot type anime.
Shakugan no Shana is a pretty god anime to watch. It has a mixture of romance, comedy and violence. (some nudity may be seen but not a lot)
Bleach isn't that bad but it gets really boring after a while. It mainly has romance, some comedy, pervertedness, pedophileness, sadist and a lot of violence.
Naruto is alright. I never really got into it but I did watch some of it.
Darker Than BLACK is violent yet has some comedy in it. It's not bad but it can get boring easily.
These are mainly the ones I've recently seen. :) Anime + Rs Skills = <3333

I just started watching the Pokemon Best Wishes and they are awesome I must say. I really do prefer to watch in Japanese with English sub titles, the voices sound much better in my opinion.
Also for anyone interested there is a bit of updated animation. Now when Pikachu performs Iron Tail, his tail actually turns to iron for the duration of the move.
