I just love B&W vintage pictures. I have 100's of them in boxes. Shame I have no scanner cos I have some really nice 1's.

Great pictures Top. Love that buddleia plant ( hope it is). The butter flies that come to them are amazing to get picturs of.

I got to ask Santa for a scanner this year. :P

I've taken 100's of pictures now and the camera was suffering. It's still suffering a little bit with dust.

I've done a full service of the sensor and mirror and other bits and they are sparking. Just like new. I bought a cleaning kit thats done an amazing job. Done a full cleaning service on all my lenses and other bits too while I was at it.

Just the bit thats suffering is dust behind the eye peice. I've no idea how to get at that and worried I may break something. So it can stay. Well till I figure out how to get at it.

If anyone knows how to get the dust out of an eye peice of a Pentax K-r 2011 let me know. Cheers.

I've never seen so many ladybird eggs in my life.

100's of these clumps all over my garden.

Love seeing them but not sure they have enough greenfly as food.

These have just hatched. Baby ladybirds right out of the egg. You can see the empty egg cases in the midle. Hard to see but they are there.

Dandylion seed very close up.

Even closer.

B&W of the close up above.

These were a pain to take. But worth it in the end. :P

I spotted dust on the first 1. I did a service on the camera other day and it was spotless. Now the dust is back. arghhh.

This is a great thread and so for that reason here is a bump.

The last few days have been sunny and hot in the UK. On Friday I went for a walk and took these photos on the way.

This house had a clock outside.

Sharing pictures of my colorful packing puzzle!
There are 108 unique heptomino pieces in a Heptomino puzzle set and each piece is build with 7 squares or cubes edge to edge! Rotating pieces and reflecting pieces don't changes theirs shapes! Now some pictures of my real heptomino puzzle!

All the 108 unique pieces!

Layer 1 with the most famous piece with a hole!

Layer 1 continued!

Layer 2!
Stacking layers!

Layer 2 continued!

Layer 3!

Layer 4!

Layer 5!

Layer 5 continued!

Layer 6!

Layer 7!
Notice the shadow is growing in area for each layer added!

Done! A beautiful 7 x 9 x 12 cuboid made from all the 108 heptominoes!

Another angle of view!

Another build!
A big 23 x 33 rectangle with three holes!
Since one piece has a hole then it's impossible to make it a plane area without holes!
