I really do like the train track 1. I just love b&w pictures.

That's great. Don't normally take black and white pictures but I honestly did like that one more as black and white.

Here are some photos from today. Decided to try getting black and white ones only.

Some great pictures again Super Ryan70.

I just love B&W.

Here is an early morning shot before the sun got on it.

With the above I had no idea what to focus on. So winged it lol.

Just waiting for the rest of the flowers to flower. They are in bud so it won't be much longer then the insects arrive in bulk.

Todays show. 2 pictures for now. Maybe more later lol.

Blade of grass with seed head.

Top buds of English Lavender including spider webs

I'm still very confused with all the settings in macro mode. I've watched 100's of videos as well as read a heap of web sites and it's not as easy as I'd hoped it would be. :P

The lavender took some doing. Had to do it indoors as it was windy. Also took about 50 pictures to get 3-4 decent 1's back.

Also I used a macro lens with extension tubes so it's even closer. Bigger then lifesize. I had no idea I could do that until I watched a video using them together. Took some working out the settings.

I can't wait to get some bug pictures using this method. They will be outstanding.

I got my ring adapter now so I can reverse mount my lens the other way round. It works a treat and all for under £5. Can't wait for the sun to come out and the rain vanish.

This is a great thread and so for that reason here is a bump.

The last few days have been sunny and hot in the UK. On Friday I went for a walk and took these photos on the way.

This is beautiful, love this kind of photography, just the sky and trees. :) I also love to travel and take pictures like that from as many places as I can and then compare local flora.

(these two from the Netherlands)

(and these from northern Finland)

(plus some edits just because they are so enjoyable to make)

And hey, looking good here guys, stay active with your cameras!

Thanks. Really like the ones you just posted. This one in particular. Not been to the Netherlands or Finland but it looks like beautiful nature! Lucky for me I live near some lovely countryside/forests. Will definitely go out and take more photos at some point.
