Buttercup. Still not as sharp as I would like it but getting there.

Tiny red flower. People are saying it's a weed. I have no idea just been in my garden for 17 years. I like it. It turns into a big bush about 3 feet tall and full of tiny red flowers. No idea of it's name. :P

I've now sent for a magnifying glass so when I use liveview I can use it as my glasses are not helping. :P

So many settings on my camear and I've no idea what most of them do. ;) The manual is huge.

I havent done much today. I've changed some camera settings and it's not worked out lol. Wish I had a factory reset (looking for it)

Anyway today I took a picture of a dandylion flower.

Focused it and then used a magnifying glass on the live view to get it even sharper. Still struggling with it. I got the depth of field I was looking for though. So I'm getting better at this. :P

Tiny white flower with even smaller green bug the size of a greenfly. :P

As mentioned I'm super busy with Weddings, Photobooths etc, but it's nice to see some people are enjoying the craft! Keep up the good shots! :)

I'm in a really good mood today. My E-Bay buy has arrived. Been after some extension tubes for my Pentax K-r for over a year and other day I won the bid. Sooooo happy now I should be able to take better macro pictures as they are auto focus.

Jessops Auto Extension Tubes Pentax PK/A fit. Set of 3, 13mm, 21mm and 31mm. Used them all ready to test them out and I'm very happy. I'm like a dog with 2 beef bones to chose from lol. I have these tubes as well as 2 dedicated macro converters thats 1:1 each.

Better pictures from me soon. Fingers crossed.

Tiny daisy. Took ages to get it in focus.

Some sort of green garden bug.

Took 100+ pictures of it and thats the best.

2 for the price of 1. See if you can see the spider.

I got some extension tubes now and was hoping to take some better pictures. But sadly I can't get my head around them. 90% of the pictures are just black screens. They are supposed to work on my camera as they have the through contacts. I just can't set the F stops. Tried all sorts. The camera is just way too complicated. I just wish I knew someone local that had 1 to show me the in's and out's of it...

The manual is a mini encyclopedia. :P

Took well over 2 hours to get the 1 I was looking for. This came very close to what I was after.
Alfie closeup of his eye.

My other parrot Billy's eye. Took 5 mins. He sat in the right place.

This picture took ages.

Guess what it is lol.

Was using 65mm extension tubes and 28-80mm lens at 50mm. ISO 1600 1/50th second. <<< No idea what that lot means but if I forget what I used I can look back here. :P

I'm very pleased with that picture. Infact I would say it's my best to date.

Goot some great feedback on a FB group i'm in saying the ISO is too high and next time use a lot less. Like 100-400.
