Matthew, if your reason for not getting vaccinated is because the behaviour of certain healthcare staff wasn't to your liking or not appropriate, aren't you kinda 'cutting off your nose to spite your face'?
I think the behaviour of individual staff members says a lot about the institution as a whole. The pandemic obviously isn't as bad as they make it out to be if they have time to make those dance videos.
are you being serious? it takes a few minutes to make a dance video on tik tok. and they are humans, that need a break or to be light hearted in a serious time to keep their humanity.
to say it cant be as serious because 2 nurses took a break, is just a ridiculous assumption.
the fact its an actual pandemic, the fact the whole world pretty much had to shut down and many places are re-shutting down due to covid, the fact that even with the vaccine we have people are still dying and going into hospital taking up space in these hospitals. ans so much more... surely is more evidence to say this serious than 2 nurses having a break and enjoying life they have when they are surrounded by death and sickness due to the work they are in... no?
but yes 2 nurses have fun for 2 minutes in their break time because they have to have a break, means its not serious situation....
im 50/50 on if you are trolling or being serious im really not sure
If they actually cared about people then they would prioritise cancer patients and those in need of immediate medical treatment
what do you mean here? hospitals have re-arranged the whole hospitals to keep covid and other situations separate.
and covid is incredibly important right now, if any of these cancer patients catch it its pretty much end of them, for one some cant get the vaccine, one big reason why people who can should.
My mum has terminal cancer and has had both covid jabs (not sure if all cancer patients can have them?).
Throughout covid she has had all her cancer related tests and palliative care as and when needed.
I also know of a few others that have had cancer related tests/treatment not put off.
Maybe my mum and the others I know have been lucky, I don't know.
Remember Caz. Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
I had minor cancer nodules discovered on my lungs not so long ago and I was called up by the hospital asking me to come in the next day. When I got to hospital I was told that if someone came in with a heart attack or some other emergency then my operation might be slightly postponed.
So hospitals have to juggle things around depending on what is more important.
My point is no one with a life threatening illness gets put at the end of the line.
