Yeah! Birdwatching!

What gear do you use? Crappy binoculairs, they're 8x50 I believe.

Best find? Uhh European cranes I guess.

Latest Sightings? Iberian Chiffchaff (very rare in the Netherlands) and European Bee-eaters (awesome!!)

Photography? Yup, just for fun, I don't make great photos.

Digiscope? Noo

Feed birds at Home? HELL YES!

Nice sightings there was some cranes that flew over a reserve I visit last month, wasn't there though :( and I'm jealous of the Bee Eater.

Great Spotted Woodpecker
Linnet
Lesser Whitethroat
******
Buzzard
Raven
Song Thrush
Sand Martin
House Marting
Swallow
Blue/great/long tailed
Whinchat
Stonechat

Interesting thread.

Well I am originally from Australia and have travelled around that country a lot and have seen many birds. My favourite birds to watch when travelling would have to be eagles, specifically the Wedge Tail Eagle.

One time we were on a boat fishing and a big Wedge Tail was flying above us for most of the day hunting. Whenever we moved location it flew over towards us.

Cool, I've yet to do much abroad. My favourite bird would probably be the Bittern. I have sort of claim to fame regarding that bird, but for security I won't divulge it.

Yesterday near by:
Buzzard
Large numbers of Goldfinch
and for me the best was a group of Linnet feeding with the Goldfinch.

Bird Fair in a couple of weeks also get to try out some expensive toys, and hopefully see the Osprey.
