support, maybe, when u "butcher" the meat, it heals a certain amount higher, maybe according to ur lvl, and also, you might fail at butchering it, like burning food when cooking
I like the idea, but think it should be integrated into cooking. I like the idea of different types of meats having different bonuses. For example, maybe dragon meat could provide slight fire resistance for a period of time after it is consumed. The bonus effects could be counteracted by having to have the meats "prepared" (such as curing the meats for example?). Having an extra step involved in making the meats made edible would be a balancing factor because many people wouldn't bother with cooking those types of foods because of the extra work. The extra work required to prep the foods would ensure that they didn't flood the market at a super cheap price (and thus make all other foods obsolete).
*To sum it all up*
Make this a part of cooking. Make it a three step process (collect, prepare, cook). Let the 'Scapers enjoy
I agree with the people before me, it would be a great add on to the cooking skill. Perhaps even hunting? I'm just thinking it would be really cool to kill a dragon and be able to butcher the meat. This could also be worked into quests, too.
