I think this is a great idea.
When Stealing Creation first came out, I was quickly good at it and began advising skillers to sit in the base for the last 4 minutes of the game, so the pkers can't kill you.
However, as time goes on, I find myself changing my advice to less-than-professional players. Saying 5 minutes, than 6, then 7. In some games, i'm encouraging players to begin sitting in the base at almost 10 minutes!!! Not because the clay is gone, but because being out there is feeding the pkers more points by the second.
Also, this is most definately not a combat oriented activity. While it is a fun bonus, it's by far a skill based game. Think about it, in the end of every game, your team has what 20K point? That's because the fighters with no skill levels take all the combat stuff that skillers made (withdrawing costs more than depositing gains) and sapping points.
My al time, most disappointing SC score.
Team: 5K
Me: 70K
My team kept withdrawing the class 5 arrows, runes and weapons that skillers had been making. And top it off, they were dying! Losing more points than they were making by far, not to mention feeding the other team.
Anyway, enough ranting. This is a great idea. Tunneling out will stump the pkers long enough to continue gathering clay as the game comes to a close. Especially 1-Itemers. Skillers could use an edge over them....
