This is a great idea! Support.
Stealing Creation is probably my favorite minigame when I don't get trapped in my own base for 10 more minutes until the game ends. It's very annoying.
Maybe there could be different worlds for Stealing Creation. A world for Stealing Creation with combat and a world without combat. Or set the games up so that you are against other players with similar combat levels.
i.e.
Combat levels 3-60 play against eachother.
Levels 60-80
80-100
100+
Just like the different boats on Pest Control or caves in Bounty Hunter.

I support, but more or less for the strategic value. You're really taking risks in moving in to the base with this, and trying to find the fog cloud would be a good challenge.
Scavlord,
Great ideas. If the tunnel were in place, I'd want the player to emerge in a different, random fog cloud each time.
I like the idea about the base. Although, I think they should work like the kilns. They will protect you for the first few seconds and possibly a little ways away from the base, but after a while of standing, the protection goes away.
hmm i would of thought more people would support.
but i think its a great idea, give more of a challange to both skillers and cb players, i think people need to realise its not fair whn si lvl 130's are surrounding your base..even though its nice for them the skillers get owned >.<

Also would be nce to see somthing added to that game
I respect your opinion but i am afraid i can't support this. Yes, i am biased because i am usually on the team that has based the other team. This is very fun and i'm sure there would be a huge uprising of long existing members but unfortunately for them jagex is smart and realizes lower levels would keep playing for longer than higher levels. So, they would just ignore the higher leveled players.
On the other hand, I have been on the bad side of one of these situations. I like it because it adds a little challenge to the game. After so many games of destroying the other team, you need to switch it up a bit.
My advice to you is not to complain and shout dumb cliche insults at the other team. That will completely ruin your chances of ever getting 10 pixels from the base. That is just annoying and pointless and everyone will target you immediately and you will win most deaths by a landslide.

bbabycarlos,
First, please read the discussion I had with maxed player DEMON HIIPER on page 4.
I have played well over 500 games of Stealing Creation and have been on both sides of this situation. What most frequently happens is the highest level players spend a few minutes getting their weapons (or often just a dagger) and head off to get "Most Kills". While you are trapping the opposing teams lower level players in their base the high level players from the other team are trapping your lower level teammates in your base. Rarely are the higher level players defending their own base.
Now, as I stated to HIIPER, you have earned the right to play the game as you like but I personally find very little challenge in running down a level 26 player for a quick kill and I find it even less enjoyable to obviously frustrate other players by trapping them in their base.
Now I understand your suggestion for the frustrated players not to shout "dumb cliche insults" at the other team but then are you suggesting they just sit down and wait out the game inside their base while you sit down and wait out the game outside their base? Wow, now that sounds like fun!
What if the "Mystic" in the base where to cast high level mage spells or range attacks at those from the other team that came right up to their base? Would you be opposed to that? That would make it a greater challenge for a team to successfully shut down a base as they would need to survive the Mystics attacks and it would give the lower level players a better chance of teaming up and fighting you off. Or do you just prefer the easy kill?
My biggest problem again is this great game that has taken a lean towards the high combat player and away from the high skill player.
Lol at suggestion 2.
The whole reason you made this thread is to keep high levels away, and you admitted that they could still stay.
Anyways, no to this whole idea.
Stealing Creation isn't considered a "Skill Mini-game"
It's just an activity.
Plus, one of the major reasons that it's so popular in the firstplace is because you can FIGHT in it.
Plus, pretty much anybody with 99 magic and decent def can take down a high level.
(Just use smoke barrage to lower there attack, then Ice barrage with a dagger teamate and if they are smart they run away.)
It's not that hard to fight them off.
Just get some better combat skills.
