This thread isn't speaking about changing or limiting combat in any way!!
I just don't understand why folks feel they need to speak to a subject when they obviously haven't taken the time to read and understand it.

Ok, a couple friends have told me that I'm being a bit harsh towards Lance's comments. I'm just getting a bit tired of being told to go find a non-combat game. I didn't stand there and do 165k alchs and fight my way through DT at lvl 70 to go to a non-combat game and not barrage.
I think I understand the point Lance is making if I am reading it correctly. Trapping folks in their base is a tactic effective in winning the game. I just think it is a flaw in the game that targets lower level players, being either skillers or just folks new to the game.
Trapping folks in their base eliminates their ability to contribiute to the game.
I know this is supposed to be a team game but in most cases it's just not. High combat players are at each others base attacking the lower level players and not each other. For most, its obvious the small reward for the teams victory isn't nearly as important as getting your name on the scoreboard for most kills.
And I almost always get 23 points in a game , win or lose.
Adding the ideas I have mentioned will help the lower level player participate in the game without changing the combat whatsoever.
