Also, I feel the reason why fmods are so often targeted is because the rules are outdated and when people post on FMR, they want an explanation so they can understand what's going on. When people don't get that explanation or the rules don't make sense, the most identifiable source of "error" is then within the moderator.

I would like to say thank you for all the great work Archaeox done over the years, it was great to see how he could turn from a Forum mod into a regular player when needed and the other way around when needed also.
