Either fix the thread or shutting down Price check thread altogether.
There is minimal moderation on the thread anyways(genuineness of the trade), there is only so much you can do as a mod.

im worried were already way past that. i think shutting down or completely take actions towards all this mess(including certain fc,s and players who are the cause of most of this) should have been done last year when it all started. with all respect, i think alot of people feel the same when i say back in lets say 2017-2018 things were better with people being honest etc. back then you didnt need to screenshot because everyone knew each other and there was mutual trust. now all i can see is 2020 and 2021 accounts with 1 or max 5 posts spamming random prices.

simply put- shut it down completely.

trace ips and perm ban them from the forums.

or maybe even a way better idea: trace their ips check their trades and see if their accounts were used for rwting. trusting certain pc lists or prices of items or websites that dont belong to jagex will get you into trouble notice: external websites and trades are your responsibility, dont get fooled!.

You can use your judgment to see right from wrong too. For example, I have right to write that I sold White partyhat for 100B but I can't force anyone to believe me.
Also, taking screenshots does not mean that the trade actually happened. There were many examples of people doing that and just switching back the trade in order to manipulate the prices plus you can easily make alternative accounts in order to do that.
To me, it's more WHO writes the post.
I know many people on the thread who don't take screenshots including myself and we're 100% more legit than few players who take screenshots but are ''trading'' with their friends, clanmates or alternatives like i've already said. My point is that screenshot of a trade is NOT a proof of anything, atleast not in this form, and some people want to make prices based on that statement.
Guy who currently writes the prices is usually @Tranquilty and I had very high opinion of him but he yesterday deleted his original post and made a new one cold-blooded adding +5B value on a White partyhat just because he bought it. I still don't have anything against him or his price checks but in my eyes it's not worth reading that anymore because he lost credibility and i'll be using my own research as usual and follow other people now like for exampe @Al Ahmed Ali as he's pretty realistic for now so we'll see.
The action or process of causing so much damage to something that it no longer exists or cannot be repaired.

First two paragraphs are reasonable. Idk why you stooped to naming and shaming in the last paragraph.

I said that he can do what he is doing and that I don't have a problem with that, complimenting the other guy. I just said he lost credibility to me, that's all.
