I guess it doesn't matter if something is confirmed to be discontinued anymore. Someone updated the wiki pages to say bsh holly and xmas scythe can be rereleased in the future along with Christmas tree hat too. Maybe golden partyhats and og rares will be rereleased too once new management comes in because free healthcare for all! -bernie sanders-


Its bad business decision just like how they are removing buffs to hero pass when its too late.

I can't see point in rereleasing rares for the logevity of the game. Even the short terms profit they make in mtx etc wouldn't be worth losing the end game items the hats represent. People may not like that there are 30b+ items but they're needed for the state games in.

Someone mentioned deflation, the games had increasing inflation without any real outlet for gold for nearly 10 years. Come on, it's an economy, the deflation brings value back to gp. The only people who probably dont like deflation are the ones that have been siting on rares for years and not doing anything else. If you actively play the game its a great update.

I think they should have personally held back on necromancy since they've made 3 og combat styles redundant with how imbalanced it is.

I think personally give it a year of this and cut tax back to 1% and we'll see some stability.

Deflation rn kinda sucks for pvming though so zzz

If more discontinued items were rereleased then ppl would flock to pvm items.

It's not going to matter what items you hold if things don't change, We are likely heading towards pre covid lows on the average player count. Jagex is like a modern central bank, printing items out of thin air but with a very small player population left to consume means most things just crash besides a few.
