Tuffty! Glad to hear you're doing OK. Sorry to hear about the knee.

I was partly concerned I might have driven you away from this thread, with some of my complaints. Ah, not complaints about F Mods, F Mods are always great. Also, RS, on the whole, is still a very nice game.

You're the primary F Mod who talks somewhat directly with players; so, you're the most noticeable, I suppose. You're personable. I cannot for the life of me manage to catch Covid. Perhaps it's because I didn't get vaxxed? The travails of those lacking immunity. :(

It will be stupid if they don't from a business point of view, they already killed some of their revenue by saying that they might add walks to the oddment store. People are unlikely to buy keys in the future for tokens/promotions. "it will be in the oddments store anyway". The way I think this will play out is they are going cut down on treasure hunter/promotions and start earning their revenue from the oddments store. "oddments store rework". If they don't, that annual balance sheet is going to look pretty bad lmao. I'm not too worried about my bank getting rekt, not adding any expensive walks here, just adding congas and loved ups, maybe a few plagues only if they drop real low.

My thinking is hot sands are a beach token, and thousands entered during 2020 event which entered when some beach tokens were hinted at not returning.

Loved up, conga, and maybe party fever are in animation chest, which are in umbral chests.

So, maybe they won't be released in the oddment store? I did buy a few cheap, lower walks. I dunno if smart or not. I cannot for the life of me manage to catch Covid. Perhaps it's because I didn't get vaxxed? The travails of those lacking immunity. :(

You have little to no risk adding walks around the 20m area or under it, we can back test it with the hot sand release for 2500 oddments, it dropped down to 7m then moved upwards towards 30m and settled around 20m for a while. I never really considered the hot sand to be limited/rare. Even the felix stuff managed to hold decently well. I see congas and loved ups similar to rainbow items while they can return but i don't expect a oversupply so prices will hold. The reason we saw a big dump in congas when they were added into the animation chest was the hoarders dumping, the prices started to collapse before the release. Animation chest was a contributing factor in changing the perspective of merchers toward the token. I couldn't add back then was too busy dealing with hats. If you want a 2 to 3x return add party fevers under 5m, i see them going to 12m to 15m. I am not adding too much trouble going through my alts again and i would not hold them longterm.

Thanks. That's an excellent tip. I'm out of gp though. I'm fully invested in tokens and seasons, which is a sort of pseudo-rare.

I did buy a few party fevers, as well as congas. Ink shooters at 20m inb are nice. I guess party fever has more potential, if I'm being honest.

I've just always really liked ink shooters. They're only potent if remaining scarce. If they return, they'll be junked. For some reason, it's more fun to buy something (ink shooters) that's hard to get, even if it's not the best deal at the moment. I don't honestly see them going up unless just due to rarity.
