To be honest, I'm actually surprised that they are even considering adding items which can be purchased from the grand exchange to the oddiment store considering there already exists so many other animations and cosmetics from past events and yak tracks that aren't even attainable in game, nor through Solomon's store. When released, the oddiment store will have a selection at least 3x larger than Solomon's store...

Regarding Oddments, some of you may want to read my comments on page 162. Over 400 discontinued items have been issued. Most of them are rarer than a Santa Hat.
Daily trading volumes now give a good indication of true rarity.
