I'm not posting this in the SOF thread (see 17-18-74-66192891 pages 88-90), b/c I feel like Tuffty doesn't want argument there and it will just get deleted, but wanted to rant -- maybe you'll find this interesting Tuffty...?
Fact: Player 1 posts buy item X for inb 149.4m w/ screenshot evidence (yesterday).
Fact: Player 2 posts a price check line, with item X for 150b , where the post clearly states that "B" prices are rounded UP to the nearest million
Fact: Player 1 posts to conflict to the 150 price, stating that offers < 150 haven't sold yet. Later posted screenshots that have since been deleted, which showed a non-filled sale at a price 149.x (I forget exact amount -- post is gone)
My analysis: Player 1 is misunderstanding the rounding that is clearly stated in Player 2's post, and that is the entire source of disagreement here. The reported "150b" price is perfectly consistent with the non-filled 149.x offers
Sure, sometimes its just he-said-she-said, and if readers don't wanna go throw 150m at ge, they have to use their judgement and decide who they trust, but I don't think that's the case here. Player 2's price line is consistent with Player 1's facts, there is no conflict here. We don't need to use our judgement. The entire argument was quite silly to observe.
I also really wish you would moderate such disputes a little less heavily. By deleting multiple posts from both sides, you're hiding the evidence that players could use to make up their mind. In this case, I think Player1's screenshot actually demonstrated that their conflict was invalid, and by deleting that post, its now much less clear.
