It all depends what hat they want to borrow and how much.

I've seen Blue advertised as high as 20m for 72 hours and as low as 2m for same time.

I don't lend any of mine out much these days and if I do it's always free. :P

Check the Lending Sticky in Misc section for a few guide prices and times you might get away with.

PS. Even with a lent P-Hat you can't or couldn't take a avitar picture. It's only if you owned it.
I'm pretty sure I've lent a blue phat for 45m / 72hrs, but lending prices tend to rise when phats are unstable and thus profitable to flip.

30m was pretty regular for awhile. I even lent a yellow for 15m / 72 hrs. But I haven't been lending lately, and I might have just been waiting for the high payers. Lending prices vary with the phat colour.

There are far too many assassin walks for sale. Nvm, the price thread range for it seems correct now. I wasn't online for a week or so.

Few seem to realise animation chests are in umbral chests. So, though supply is low, animation chest items are entering the game right now.

Is it all good to advertise dodgy FC in signature now? Someone is doing it in the Discontinued Items thread.

If the Signatures are within the rules then sadly yes anything goes really.

If Signatures do break the rules then F-Mods and CM-Staff can edit them and leave advice.

@Tuffty as a followup to our conversation in the SOF/TH-thread.

I'm glad you agree. I understand that the rules are as you quoted but can't we/you/someone just change rules if there's something obviously wrong going on like that? Changing it so that you HAVE to be a part of a trade to be qualified to post a price-check or a price-range of said item(s). I'm sure most people would agree on this.

I get that prices are a guideline rather than a factual statement but even then there is a reason this same person keeps doing it and keep changing names of the compilations and adding little notes to the bottom of the post to stay within rules or whatever.

Everyone can even open up their profile and see how many of the said items they are selling/buying on the forums. I found 0 when looking (this does not mean that they are not trading them in-game, it's just very suspicious). What I found though was a vague attempt at creating a partyhat price-check thread to create even more ownership over some item(s).
This can probably come off as a personal attack but it's not meant that way - but the account seems like an account made specifically for this with a lady-like name and a lady-like signature to seem much more trustworthy. It DISGUSTS me!

Changing it so that you HAVE to be a part of a trade to be qualified to post a price-check or a price-range of said item(s).

This is all ready a rule really. You can't post someone elses trade within the Forums. IE saying Player X sold Item X to Player Y. Posts like that can be hidden as they were not part of the trade.

Now PC-ing is gathered from the Forums, FC's, Discord and Word of mouth. It's been that way for a long time. I can't see it changing any time soon to be honest.

The PC'ing posts are " Guidelines" meaning the Community should also do their own research. Been said many many times Research is the key to a good deal. No research and you risk the chance of being ripped off and losing millions or costing you millions as you over paid.

LovveLI really do get what you are saying and it's been said for years the PC'ing and trade posts just don't seem to be fair and can be seen as manipulating depending on wording. Sadly it's all we have to go on really. I honestly can't see it changing any time soon. The OP's of each PC Status thread could ask their Community what rules they would like to see changed. Thats about all that can be done. Not much help really but thats how it's been for years.

If I or other F-Mods see any Manipulating then it's removed. It's just hard to prove but not impossible as I've personally removed a few posts this year for manupulating comments.

Hopefully things will pick up and anyone doing any PC'ing will get on board and do better. Not saying they do a bad job but a lot within the Community are not happy with the results posted.

PS. PC'ing is a hard job and not 1 I would like to do. Too much hard work lol. :P

I'm not posting this in the SOF thread (see 17-18-74-66192891 pages 88-90), b/c I feel like Tuffty doesn't want argument there and it will just get deleted, but wanted to rant -- maybe you'll find this interesting Tuffty...?

Fact: Player 1 posts buy item X for inb 149.4m w/ screenshot evidence (yesterday).

Fact: Player 2 posts a price check line, with item X for 150b , where the post clearly states that "B" prices are rounded UP to the nearest million

Fact: Player 1 posts to conflict to the 150 price, stating that offers < 150 haven't sold yet. Later posted screenshots that have since been deleted, which showed a non-filled sale at a price 149.x (I forget exact amount -- post is gone)

My analysis: Player 1 is misunderstanding the rounding that is clearly stated in Player 2's post, and that is the entire source of disagreement here. The reported "150b" price is perfectly consistent with the non-filled 149.x offers

Sure, sometimes its just he-said-she-said, and if readers don't wanna go throw 150m at ge, they have to use their judgement and decide who they trust, but I don't think that's the case here. Player 2's price line is consistent with Player 1's facts, there is no conflict here. We don't need to use our judgement. The entire argument was quite silly to observe.

I also really wish you would moderate such disputes a little less heavily. By deleting multiple posts from both sides, you're hiding the evidence that players could use to make up their mind. In this case, I think Player1's screenshot actually demonstrated that their conflict was invalid, and by deleting that post, its now much less clear.

I am rather new in this price-checking thing so obviously I cannot speak of the past or how it's been this bad for so long but I'm kind of shocked that's the case.

So if I post a price-check I have to be a part of the trade but if what I post is not a price-check but a price-range instead I can just hypothetically make up numbers and say that I saw someone buy/sell within this range in w2? Do I understand that wrong?

When a new thread compilation is made and accepted, whoever is the quickest to start that thread will forever be the creator and maker of the rules in that thread? No wonder they are trying so hard to create new threads.

I agree that policy is silly and creates perverse incentives. Let the community decide.

If I want to create a new thread for pc'ing only beach tokens (I love beach tokens!), I should be allowed to. I hate scrolling through pages and pages in the token thread just to find my beach tokens.

To be clear, I don't actually want to create such a thread. I can't be bothered to maintain it and I doubt it would be popular -- but the community should be allowed to decide things like that. I should be allowed to create that thread, and if the community likes it, it will thrive. If they don't, it would die in the oblivion. No reason for forum mods to lock it just because it overlaps with other threads. Those other threads have become far too bloated at this point anyway.

Conflicts are tricky as they often lead to flaming, manipulating and hurt feelings.

Player 1 posted a PC post and Player 2 posted a Conflict message.

That should have been it. It did not need any extra messages calling each other out hence the removal of the extra posts.

I get what you are saying but anything other then " I Conflict message " is flaming and maybe manipulating and can and often is removed to keep the peace. Unless you were very fast at reading the messages I think you missed the flaming and manipulating parts of both parties. ;)

@LovveL

PC'ing is made up of posts from Forum, FC's, Discord and Word of mouth. So if you see any and follow them and feel they were legit there is nothing stopping you doing a PC post range. You just can't name anyone who traded. That falls under " Not part of the trade rule " and can be removed. 99% of the time they will add a trade post to the Status threads and party 2 will confirm the trade. Then that can be added to a PC'ing range post as it's a comfirmed trade done via the forums. It's added to say the latest 5 trades.

As for New PC threads very rare new 1's are made as not every item needs 1 and if any are made they are often locked as duplicates. Also who ever makes a PC status thread has the thread rights to remake it. If a maxed out thread is still within the 50 pages of the ID section it can't be remade by others but a Temp thread maybe made till the OP arrives back. Can't just hijack someones thread without seeking their permission. Thread Authors are protected by the hijack rule and thread ownership. ;)

Edit: I failed the quote a little, my bad - hope it makes sense anyway.

And this would make absolutely sense in all the other sections of the forums where people are allowed to make their own thread and not steal someone else's like these are my achievements, this is my suggestion, this is my role-playing story etc etc. But a place like this where it's not allowed to create your "own" it makes absolutely NO sense that those VERY FEW ones "lucky" enough to have their thread allowed also get to pick their own rules that we all have to follow, if that's the case.

There should simply be one set of rules in this section of the forums that all the threads should just apply to or get deleted and a rule should simply just be that if you are not the seller or buyer you CANNOT make a price-check or a price-range or whatever you want of any items at all.
