There are a set of Rules for the Forums. It's called the Forum Rules and Code of Conduct. These have got a lot smaller over the years and often change without notice. Always best to keep upto date with them too.

Thread owners though can add additional rules to help their threads no matter which section they are in. These can be anything really and most people follow them.

Saying that though I can't go to another section copy and past someones thread claiming it to be my own. I would have to use my own content. Threads have been locked for copy and pasting other peoples content. Yes it does happen but not too often.

As for PC'ing anyone can. Been that way for years and I've been on the forums since day 1 way back in 2005. Seen it all done it all and got the badge. Comprehensive Account Security

I feel like you're evading my point though. Not sure if that's the case but I also kind of felt that in the former response. But it's ok I learned some new stuff today that sadly has not made much sense in my opinion and surely not made us come closer to a better price-checking section. (A better price-checking section in my opinion of course)

Apparently it's been like this for years and the argument is therefore "it's been like that for years".... We're not moving any further and this section will just stay the same which is fair, yet not good.
It's hard to please everyone in a section as fragile as this with people's Runescape gp on the line but it's hard for me to understand why some people are accepted here that are blatantly corrupted and use tricks like lady-like account names and signatures to gain credibility.

I'm sorry you feel I'm evading your point. Thats not how I wanted it to come over. Honest.

As I said it's been done this way for years because there isn't any better way to do these PC'ing posts. If you know of a better way by all means post it and let the Community see how it can be done.

Just because it's been done this way does not mean it can't be overhauled and have a make over. It's been asked for for years and I mean years. Yet no better way came forward.

Also I totally agree with you. Can't please everyone who use the forums but we can help as many as we can. Comprehensive Account Security

In the most recent two conflicts, I posted screenies which supported the original claimants; I happened to be trading those two items. I can't know for certain the prices are real, but surrounding evidence is very supportive.

So, I wish to highlight that targets of complaints can themselves be wrongly accused.

Most of the price lists posted, in all threads and by most parties, are helpful to me. I cannot for the life of me manage to catch Covid. Perhaps it's because I didn't get vaxxed? The travails of those lacking immunity. :(

Trip180 you just need to be extra careful when posting a Conflict.

Yes people can post them and often do. But saying that there is a very thin line between posting a Conflict and outright flaming and calling someone out. Hence thats why a lot of Conflict posts are often removed. It's mainly to keep the peace. It's not to protect people who are posting PC's or trades etc. Thats a myth. ;)

Thats why it's best for everyone to do a lot of research. Thats key in todays market. After all no one wants ripped off. :P
