Tokens seem weaker suddenly, a loss of faith due to the oddment store update, fear that additional tokens could be added. Maybe we were due a selloff, but I doubt many additions will be made to the oddment store.

Good point. To many, the future is perilous. Some items have been reintroduced numerous times, and then stopped being reintroduced. Who knows which unlocks could be next? There have been folks asking for zombie walk, assassin walk, gem tokens, and many other incredibly valuable ones to be made available again. Seeing the full Felix outfits available in the oddment store makes me think the possibility of other cosmetics/emotes being added to there in the future is likely. To me, it is a matter of
when
rather than
if
this will happen.
I do think that the concept of introducing these cosmetic unlocks through the oddment store is interesting. It makes it accessible to players, while not affecting the token market cap. In the end, isn't the largest source of demand of these tokens merchants? I'd imagine the consumption rate of many of these tokens is minimal, and decreases in relation to price increases.

I can confirm that the buyers mostly persist of merchants. ive had some friends who bought plague tokens for use back when they were like 270m. i think after they passed 500m most ppl didnt buy them for use anymore. i sold my stack when they went to 500m and later bought a few for 1b and sold them for 2b. now that they are max cash i dodge them because with the amount ingame they can only crash at some point. but thats just my opinion
trusting certain pc lists or prices of items or websites that dont belong to jagex will get you into trouble notice: external websites and trades are your responsibility, dont get fooled!.
People do use tokens at high prices, just fewer do so. I've unlocked several high priced pets in the last year. When a person makes a lot from bossing or staking, he wants to buying something nice. There aren't too many options. You buy the best gear and abilities, dye the gear, and then you get a walk or a pet. Or you buy a rare to store wealth.
What else does a person do with 10b or 100b? or 1t?

Did anyone else notice the most valuable trades? Black Santa hat, white partyhat, and even half full wine jug... someone must have lure scammed unfortunately...
That’s the first half wine to enter GE since it reached max.

oh god thats not good. im kind of hoping someone just wanted to do it for the lols. but i doubt that
also now that we can use photo booth again. possibly more people wanting to buy santa and phats for the lovely ava pic flex
In order to give Tuffty a headache, I'd like to test the fuzzy rule boundaries and report a spurious trade which could be fake on an item which has almost no price reports, at least that I hear, because all trades seem to be on discord, where I'm not.
Anyway, this guy told me he bought assassin walk 6b:
Quick find code: 41-42-9-66199368

I'm trying to sell one, though I'd hoped for more than 6b. So, for me, this is a lower price than I'd like. But it's a price in a market where I get few offers, hear no prices. A dim signal in the dark abyss of the walk market.

As for prices as you know anyone can sell or buy for a price that they like. Thats why everyone needs to exhaust all their research till they can get a good deal.
I can try and sell 1 for 200 billion but I know I won't get it. Also I can try and buy 1 for 1 million and again I know I won't get 1. So prices posted may not always be correct.
