RS3 is Ran by loyal, old players, who never left the game. I'd say like 80% is probably old players.

Jagex is not ran by a braindead team right now (Thank God), so you poor players can still keep dreaming about Party Hats, or other iconic discontinued items being worthless so your lazy ass finally can afford it

Get to work! Bossing is 50-100m/hr, won't take long before you can afford a partyhat, stop complaining and hoping that Jagex will re-release them, because it will never happen

tbh disc rares are like an endgame achievement, if they rerelease it then prices of weapons and gear and pvm supplies will get pushed instead, i like how people say they hope that disc rares get rereleased but they havent really thought about where all that money then goes because the gp is stlil there to be used for something instead. wonder how people will react when t95 weapons become 50b+ instead of phats since thats a possible outcome. ofcouse dyes will also jump a few bil so idk if its gonna be above or a bit below 50b for tier 95 weapons. new stuff like crypto gear will probs be 8b for a set. and supplies will atleast double in price.

not to mention a group of players will lose reason to stay around since everyone will have that so called disc rare. and this group of players isnt only merchers and rwters, its also players who took years to obtain a rare and from there on build it into a bigger pile.
its funny how greed shows the lack of wanting to work your way toward something because laziness is the easy way for people these days. trusting certain pc lists or prices of items or websites that dont belong to jagex will get you into trouble notice: external websites and trades are your responsibility, dont get fooled!.

Hi Zorb,

The OG rares are still safe, no worries. I can image your feeling with your rares now.
It might be easier for them to grab via G.E, that's right.
People were also scared with the Duel Arena removal & that the new Golden Partyhat will make a Crash.
You know what the effect was on it , big drop, umm didn't remarque anthing about a drop.

Enjoy the rares u currently have mate.

Let the players, who are also finally getting the chance at a partyhat just at a low price.
The more people reach their goal, the smaller always the supply.

Everything will recover automatically.

much will happen in the coming time.

I'm going to be super happy when I see the graphs move back from the rares that are now at max limit.

still a pity that many say, they will leave when the partyhats are over.

It is indeed a very nice goal to work towards.

The rares market will be looked at by runescape though and also smartly addressed in a different way for multiple players to be happy.

We must indeed have something to achieve in this game.
I look forward to seeing the graph of a partyhat update price.

Funniest day is going to be, when max cash is gone.
How many million will Blue partyhats, on the first day rise in Grand exchange value.

Yeh but you say this as if the graph will be accurate. Low trade volume items dont move on the graph for months! There isnt that many phats in the game, and i dont think theyre gonna be flipped around like gphats...

And i agree with Raph's last post, that weapons and armour (items of purpose) will them become inflated.
This is what the mods said in the stream, they want purposeful items such as FSOA to be accessible, not hard to obtain by a manipulated marked in w2. Well im sure they dont want these items being 10b+.

Instead of thinking jagex are gonna shaft phat owners with tackling their inflation with some kind of re-release or something. Maybe this scare tactic is what they actually wanted to achieve so that stacks of phats in some players accounts are now already landing in hands of less wealthy player (distributing the wealth).

I hope Jagex read these forums because they need to take everyone opinions into consideration, even biased phat owners opinions, because at the end of the day i bet they're the most loyal of all RS players...

@Jagex: Don't shaft phat owners too hard, because you will lose player base....

Phat owners most loyal players. Alright, but in Jagex, they do have exact statistics and maybe we would be surprised if the revenue from active phat owners is like 0.05% from total revenue.
