Fix Price check threads.

My opinion on a solution:
Add functionality to the GE interface so it works more like stock trading platforms.
For example - TD Ameritrade.
* There should be a "Last Price" with a timestamp and a Bid/Ask. "Last" acts as the market price.
* Add in a tab for the last "X" number of trades and now we know what the trailing market value is to prevent people buying or selling too far under/over market with the intent to manipulate. In place of a separate tab there could just be a number that's the average of the last "X" trades. This is the less preferable option.
* Add in the volume numbers from the Grand Exchange on the homepage and now we know liquidity over a time period.
* Update max integer to over 2.147B or add alternate currency with a static value to weight gold against..AKA Platinum Tokens. This is for those things over our current "Max Cash" limit. IT's also easier to trade people with smaller numbers. Typing "50" is significantly easier and less "risky" than typing 50000000. (This is for those that don't know about M/K values in trade.) Most people generally function better with smaller numbers rather than larger ones anyways.
The Grand Exchange should be our pillar of trade in the game and able to handle all this.
Sure, it'll take a lot of work and may not even be fully possible. But that's my vision and what I'd like to see. I think using this as a basis would eliminate many of the problems we have. We already have examples of this type of framework on leaderboards like the Bounty Hunter and Treasure Trails boards.
Feel free to add any thoughts. Hopefully my pictures work.

I can't say sending PC'ing Clans to the Clans section is the right way to go. It just never worked well. Yes a few threads were made but they are dorment these days.
My reaction at the time may differ from todays reaction because the rules have changed so many times within these forums.
Years ago I may have said things I wouldn't say today because of Jagex changing the rules etc. Also opinions change with the times.
I get what you are saying though. We have to adapt. The past has gone and won't be back.
I do agree with your latter statement. Just do it within the rules and everyone will be happy. Hopefully.
I do miss the old days though when R Quark was around and the PC'ing thread around as it was outstanding. I also like Lyra's thread as it's been around since Moses.
I won't however say 1 FC, PC'ing or Clan's thread is better then the other as the Community have to do their own research and make up thier own minds.
I'm sure 2021 will bring us joy and happyness within this section.
Remember it's a team effort.

whatever the rules, whatever you do, I'm on your side. The forums don't work without you. I get along with the people I'm disagreeing with here also. Or, I think I do. This is just a game.
Whatever Jagex does, chances are I'll be happy regardless. Nothing here really matters. It's almost like role-playing, or like discussing hypotheticals, that we debate these things. Whatever the game does, I'll be happy. I cannot for the life of me manage to catch Covid. Perhaps it's because I didn't get vaxxed? The travails of those lacking immunity.
