I tried reporting it on forum review but was told to ignore it.

Keep at it, don't give up. I have brought it up with forum mods manytime, even giving them reasons for why that website is a data collection front to phish/hack people apart from being a scammer's avenue for price manipulation but forum mods are helpless too it seems cause Jagex guidelines allow that now.

I wish Jagex cares more.

i wish they would just punish the people who have been doing this for over a year. i think by now most older forum players can find these so called fair trade players who always seem to know the exact price of an item or when it suddenly goes up 300m. but when it drops they cant be found anywhere. the sad part is that its so obvious to see if you have experience but for the newer players this isnt the case and this might influence the amount of players staying in this game if no1 does something. some cautious advice: signatures can be revealing these days what kind of player you are in this game. trusting certain pc lists or prices of items or websites that dont belong to jagex will get you into trouble notice: external websites and trades are your responsibility, dont get fooled!.

Ranges are completely useless in their current form. If you do any legwork with looking at the current inventory of the people who post them by looking at their advertisement posts, you can easily see how they are often incredibly biased to inflate or deflate actual prices to support the profits of the poster.

Years back there were spreadsheet posts of the last 5-10 sales of every phat etc. that often went along with the range posts. I believe bringing back a similar system but making it more detailed would help a ton, because eliminating ranges as a whole is never going to happen.

However, less and less hats trade hands these days which makes the price information even more important. Requiring all active posters to either post all or none of their sales - with the higher burden of proof of screenshot w/ timestamp - would do a huge amount to support getting actually accurate trading status. It would be easy to tell who is and isn't being honest with this system due to changing advertising for sale posts.

ye i miss the time when R Quark was around to post these ranges. atleast they held way more credit and it was a more publicly list which you could refer to a bought item in the last 7 days and they only accepted forum posts with screens. now you got suitybot which is like 3-5 days outdated for alot of items and another medium i wont name since its a website that should get banned for breaking the rules of the game. trusting certain pc lists or prices of items or websites that dont belong to jagex will get you into trouble notice: external websites and trades are your responsibility, dont get fooled!.

Started a Compilation List of Sales using posts with Pictures only. All other reports are ignored.
I realize pictures can be faked aswell, but they are easier to spot and less likely to occur. It might help make the thread a bit more credible and leaves out the mess that Range Compilations List have made. If Jmods and Fmods can do nothing, maybe we players CAN!
