That's the downside of having a lot of gp, you are always a target. While 2fa is decent but not 100% secure, Facial Recognition (Face ID) to log in might fix it. Trust me no one is more paranoid than rare owners at the moment lmao, worst feeling is waking up to your bank cleaned out, years of work gone.
I second this. I trust Jagex' security so little that I have my own measures for safekeeping items I would not be able to replace. My distrust extends past account authentication, into stability of the game itself. A friend of mine was once targeted by a mass of bots who logged in/appeared next to him, pickpocketed him for all of his inventory and worn items in a split second, then vanished immediately. There is no recourse in this game, once your stuff is gone, it's gone. I recommend players do not carry a significant portion of their wealth onhand aside for very brief, necessary instances, and never flaunt your wealth if you can't replace it should it go missing.
