I kind of expect Jagex will make rares untradeable at some point, due to rwt. So, I think if people want a rare, I'd work my way up. But if you can't get a phat, maybe complete the rest of the rare set. And that might lead into a phat at some point. I cannot for the life of me manage to catch Covid. Perhaps it's because I didn't get vaxxed? The travails of those lacking immunity. :(

I used to be a phat merchant many years ago. I’m just rambling. I can’t for the life of me finish catching up in game to even start much pvm again. I cannot for the life of me manage to catch Covid. Perhaps it's because I didn't get vaxxed? The travails of those lacking immunity. :(

Discontinued Items remain end-game content for many to hold. To presumably combat this, the team releases supplementary discontinued items that in-turn are the equivalent of the mint cake era; i.e. a new currency that has the prestige to trade-up towards the highest priced discontinued items beyond the GP limitations.

Jagex aren't fixing this problem . They are indirectly (/probably knowingly) profiting off of it. As a business, you cannot blame them. As a player, if unobtainable to you, should debtably redirect your goal.

But alas! What do I know, anyways ;) .

I wasn't referring to cashing out for gp, but rather for dollerydoos before RS inevitably meets its end.

71k online. I don't think rs is ending. The latest quest looks amazing, and they're protecting player data now.

With the duel arena closed, rwt is a target. If phats start selling for the price of small houses, I expect Jagex will put a stop to it.
