When I said there would be between 2k-10k hats in-game I was basing it on the price, because usually, the price can tell us a lot about the supply.

When 5k Scythes got released, the price was at 70-50m, and this was back in 2014. However, gp has lost a lot of value since then, so it's hard to tell how much 50m would be in todays gp, but we could take a look at OSRS gold, currently it's like 1/9 RS3 - > OSRS - So I would probably say, it would be around 300-500m today (if it was released this year)

So, if Golden Phat is at 300m atm, we can probably tell that there is around 5-7k in-game

How is 310m anything close to the 200m's?

It's funny to see how some of you manipulate, I guess everyone is hungry for cheap partyhats, and I can't wait to see you guys miss out on the train, and end up buying at 500m+ xD

This is the same guy who said there is 100-200k of them in-game. Lol

It has the same concept as BSH, that's why everyone is comparing them to BSH.

The hat also has an iconic status to it (20th anniversary) item, which a lot of players forget. This makes it extra special as a rare, and I am pretty sure it will also effect it's price in the future.

Everyone is, current speculation is 17K to 20K but that cannot be confirmed without Jagex.
The action or process of causing so much damage to something that it no longer exists or cannot be repaired.
