FYI, royal crown looks pretty good and crown of seasons too, though they instantly scream 'can't afford real partyhat' status. If you are willing to chuck your most precious possessions like phats because someone said words like crashing/dying/quitting and then find yourself unable to rebuy for what you sold for, then you don't deserve to own a phat.

I agree with your thoughts. This golden partyhat will be a "knock off" partyhat that will be very common. It will not show a status of wealth and power simply because it is a partyhat. The original partyhats will still remain the status of wealth and power. It will be very easy to pay the price tag on this. I don't really think all these people buying a golden partyhat will have their goal satisfied of owning a partyhat, that is the goal of finally owning a partyhat. The original partyhats will still remain the end game goal for most people.

I am all for new discontinued items, occasionally. Do not get me wrong, I am excited for this new golden partyhat...it just is not going to be anything special as far as price/rarity. After several years of hoarding and such, we may see better value and status. It will take years.

Wow just listen to you guys. "Mad respect" "Wealth and status" lol it is a game for god sake. A guess some come to the game to obtain what they couldn't irl :|

Enjoy the game guys. And happy Golden (and tradeable) phats for everybody! (that look way better than old ones too lol)

Edit: By the way, if you want to show status and power, show pvm titles. Evil Lucario is the most powerful player in this game ;)

I doubt this I think many will lose interest in obtaining a party hat after this, since the only difference would be the color. does the average player really want to pay billions for just a different color? or would they rather spend that on skills etc. It's a golden partyhat that is tradeable i wouldn't call it knock off. Doesn't mean older hats will be worthless but in less demand.

I agree with you. These hoarders are just trying to make an argument as to why they should keep the price up for something that will be common in the next coming weeks lol. Why would anybody want a phat with zero stats when they can spend that money in best in slot pvm equipment to actually play the game?

But again, just look at how they talk about their "wealth and status" "power" "mad respect" lmao I respect players that earn it through actions. Someone with trillions just someone who has spent too much time wasted in the GE/game

Well said and i agree, to be a top pvm'er in todays gameplay takes balls, nerve, coolness and skill.

OG Phat owners be sweating right now lmao. Defending their Phats with reasons why their Phats should remain the same price. Price of items in this game is governed simply by “Supply and demand”. Correct, not all players will settle with Gold Phat and take their eyes off trying to obtain an OG Phat. But I can guarantee A LOT of players will settle with this Gold Phat which will take the pressure off the GP hustle to earn one and now be able to spend their hard earned GP on other items such as Bossing gear and materials for skilling. Therefore demand will drop, which in turn will decrease the value of OG Phats. I’m not saying OG Phats will come crashing down, but they are inevitably going to be effected in a negative way from this…

Seems like you have a lot of jealousy and anger that you never were able to afford an original partyhat? I am just stating the truth that partyhats are the status of power in this game. They are the most expensive tradeable items in the game. Yes this will cause a dip in partyhat prices.
