I had 4 alts getting shards then stopped when it was at 350m...guess I should finish it now that its almost 700m ea.

if you can run a few alts at the same time you can make some bills during the event, worth the effort for some people i guess

I'm pretty sure there's other better ways to make faster gold in-game with alts, just making alt accounts, bonding them, and levelling them up/doing quests will take a lot of time, and possible make it like 20m-35m hr, if you plan on buying the 30m shards, it will be less gp/hr

So in the big picture, is it worth it? probably not yet, maybe if Golden Phat hits 1b before the event is over.

Also as I mentioned before, I think only few players will be alting, and the market won't even feel it.

In a perspective, I think up to 80% of active players have already completed the event, and the phat is at 600m+

So let's say the 80% is 20k players (supply) and the price is 600m+

So, at least 10k alts (supply) would need to do the event for the market to actually feel it in a negative way, which I don't think will happen.

you dont need to lvl them up, low levels seem to get shards at seemingly same rates as high level, also for quests you just need to do one...

Aggro pots afk combat
Afk gathering skill
Afk firemaking

Yak track you can either buy bonds (idk how many) or do it yourself, based on effort/payoff i guess

The only shittier one is (Agility, Thieving, Slayer, Dungeoneering) one, so if someone knows a low lvl low effort that you can do on multiple accounts pls do tell me eheh

Also people been saying some jmod said majority of people still only have 4-5 shards atm or something but dont quote me on that

i'll be profiting a minimum of 12b, average of 60b, and higher-end of 120-200b afking, barely putting in any effort in 40 days.

please go ahead and list "better ways" to make that type of gp.
