I'm just waiting for another duplication of partyhats, and then the person to flood the market with them just as they did back on rs classic. It can happen, but will that person avoid being greedy with those hats?

This isn't to make gph more than classic partyhats, but to spite the merchant clans for all of the manipulation that they do.

They linked rares to a security alert so if more are created they are notified and those items can be deleted or rolled back.

That's also how they learned of the gp dupe. They were alerted more than normal amounts of gp was coming into the game.

There's a rumor that a professional duper will strike rares at some point in the near future. I hear he has a powerful tool called the treasure hunter, that has the ability to dupe any item if you are willing to buy some keys.

ive heard rumors that the fbi is going to raid people who potentially use dangerous software to attack runescape.

anyways, lets get back to the discussion which was about golden partyhats, not about some guy planning a dupe bug abuse session.

does anyone know when they will take a look at the forum view of the new partyhat?.
trusting certain pc lists or prices of items or websites that dont belong to jagex will get you into trouble notice: external websites and trades are your responsibility, dont get fooled!.

Golden p hats will never be remotely close to regular but will still serve a purpose once inflation pushes the discontinued items past the shard trading. I feel like they will serve similar purpose as the hooks royal crowns and wergali (u). Back when trade restrictions were around we will hit a point that rares will eventually hit another trade restriction due to value exceeding trade limit.

The golden partyhat has failed i have to admit. It is back near its previous lows.

The game just doesnt get new players in large enough amounts to make anything happen and i dont see that ever change anymore. The updates they do not attrackt new players.

I wonder who buys all the pvm drops as i dont see how they can hold their price in a situation like this. Where does all this demand come from?
At this point i am thinking jagex simply places some orders in ge now and then to keep their price up and keep prevent the game collapsing for the endgame players as well.
Maybe that is also partially the reason for the inflation in past few years.

I know the supply is really high, but I can't stop buying them. It's an addiction.

I have the same issue lol. Still thinking that one day. Even a 50% return in say 2 years would satisfy me (since after all this doesnt take any effort). Cash is slowly running out though so eventually i will have to stop.

Dont really care that much anymore, they will never be sold for a loss and if i have to sit on them while they are 150m ea so be it. Still it would be nice if they went up a bit.
