I agree that 100,000 golden partyhats in existence is a reasonable guess.

I think golden partyhats today are similar to santa hats 15 years ago: they're both discontinued items with cosmetic appeal, but a high number in circulation.

Once santa hats first reached 280m, it took about 4 more years for them to reach max cash. It took BSH about 3 years, holly wreath about 4 years, and christmas scythes about 4 years.

These items are all rarer, but the (current) cheapness of GPH allows hoarders an opportunity to take large quantities out of circulation.

ngl anyone who expected a short term revenue on this is just expecting free money to roll in.

i dont think it will ever go under a 100m but i dont think it will be max cash anytime soon either, it all depends on how fast hoarders take their cut of the quantity and also about the active circulation of existing gph's.

(im referring to the stories that your names got). trusting certain pc lists or prices of items or websites that dont belong to jagex will get you into trouble notice: external websites and trades are your responsibility, dont get fooled!.

Also Atlantis loves to keep bringing up the “100m” comment when I’ve addressed it dozens of times. Literally the same day as that comment I stated I didn’t actually think it would hit 100m, especially that fast. I said in the 200-300m range. I like how he gets to claim hyperbole when he said this is the next black Santa, but when I do the exact same thing, suddenly I’m “wrong about everything.” Meanwhile reality is far closer to my exaggeration than his...

Especially when he unironically predicted 10m...

I agree. The 100m claim was hyperbole to match the people claiming this would be the next Black Santa (both are equally ridiculous.)

I actually believe it'll stabilize around the 200m mark, somewhere near the Christmas Tree Hat.

umm yea so I predicted that they'll hit 250m but I also predicted that they'll hit 180-200m;
there simply isn't enough gp in game for rich merchers such as myself to buy them all out.
anyways from my predictions it'll be around 2024/2025 that we finally see it go up if we don't get new rares, if we do get more rares then both gold phats and older rares will drop in price.
hopefully they add golden masks to this game next because I love those!!!

what i like what i hate about these damm hats,,,

simple i love the fact i have a paper hat,, dont really care about what its worth, just sick of seeing those that have other colors and i did not .....now i have one ,,, i am content,

what i freaken hate is the look the hat has on this forum its freaken ugly.

it saddens me that jagex forum people doesnt care enough to fix the damm graphics

it looks like a fast food workers hat,,
