Strong hand hoarders will buy ni slowly as low as they can. One day… they’ll have most, and the price rockets up. But then they sell: rinse, repeat.

Maybe it’s not that impressive, but I enjoy seeing a market work. The GE makes an excellent market, the fun of rs.

From long-term perspective, market curves don't do what people want them to. People do, what "The Curve" wants them to.
Everything, ranging from sub-atomic particles to galaxy clusters, has its dynamics predefined. And then there are people claiming that systems like economy, society or other human sub-systems are in our hands.

The next year will be the most erratic for the price of the GPH.

With every passing DXP, pretty much the only reason anyone liquidates their Rares, more and more GPHs will find themselves in the hands of hoarders as DXP will create the perfect buying opportunity to get them cheap as people dump them for materials.

After 2-3 DXP a good chunk of GPHs will have moved from average player to hoarder at which point we'll see the price start climbing consistently rather than fluctuating up and down.

This is assuming there are no other "concentration events" like DXP that occur which could further accelerate the shift of GPHs into the hands of hoarders.
Woah... just take it easy man

With gph it's just flippers atm, they buy in bulk when it dumps then sell for 20m-70m profit per hat. Many were doing the same with rsh. usually what happens is you get a fast rise to the upside when they least expect it, and they miss out then panic buy because they sold theirs lol.

I guess I was thinking of how some are able to time things, to rebuy more rares, including those undervalued of other types.

But I see that you’re right.
I cannot for the life of me manage to catch Covid. Perhaps it's because I didn't get vaxxed? The travails of those lacking immunity. :(

HSR is definitely a lot rarer than the Golden Partyhat

The amount of player hours it takes for 1 HSR to come into the game is something ridiculously high, most players who PvM/skill each day won't ever get one as a drop.

On the other hand, with Golden Partyhats, while they were in the game for a shorter time, they were mass farmed. You could have one within 12 hours on a fresh account

Of course it's rarer, that's pretty obvious.
Second part is incorrect though, you couldn't get one within 12 hours on a fresh account.

@Destruction I think it was possible. Actually I had a friend who farmed just under 100 of the hats through the whole event. He would do it on something like 8 accounts at a time.

He said avg playtime was 12-14 hours by the time he finished on the accounts, starting from fresh level 3's. The methods were pretty efficient - like using aggression potions to level up to lvl 50 stats then killing arch-glacor in a group instance, using afk skilling methods etc.
