I dont think comparing hsr with gphat is a good idea.

hsr is a ring and gphat is a headslot item.

hsr has stats and abilities and gphat doesnt.

hsr keeps coming in the game and gphat doesnt.

eventually quantity breaks quality this counts for both of them, if quantity breaks for hsr then the price goes down because there are more rings than players.

if gphat quantity breaks the price jumps because it has a hard cap on it meaning it can only go down in quantity.

this is just a simple version because the details are rather complex.
trusting certain pc lists or prices of items or websites that dont belong to jagex will get you into trouble notice: external websites and trades are your responsibility, dont get fooled!.

@Destruction I think it was possible. Actually I had a friend who farmed just under 100 of the hats through the whole event. He would do it on something like 8 accounts at a time.

He said avg playtime was 12-14 hours by the time he finished on the accounts, starting from fresh level 3's. The methods were pretty efficient - like using aggression potions to level up to lvl 50 stats then killing arch-glacor in a group instance, using afk skilling methods etc.

I used these methods and the average time was 18 hours. I think someone has been telling you porky pies lol.

True, but also maybe you just didn't find all the tricks for being efficient XD

^ some were done in that time with being extremely lucky with shards but the majority weren't. I farmed around 50, training 6 at a time.

The methods i used:

- I'd start by speaking to the Wize old man then finished the quest.

- Trained Divination. using 6 accounts on 1 wisp makes the timer last until you have full inv for maximum afk.

- Trained Firemaking

- Aggro Pot rabbits in Burthorpe until yak track was on the 15th task

- Make a boss instance at Arch-Glacor with 6 alts leeching kills from my main account with an average kill time of 15 seconds. As long an account got a hitmark, it would gain marks of war and nice exp drops. I would also use ring of recoil to ensure more accounts could hit the boss in 15 secs.

- Finish combat shard on rabbits if the shard was still needed.

- Half way through the boss shard, yak track level 15 would have been achieved.

- Finally, i would buy the 30m shard.

A decent PC can run 7 accounts on minimum settings no problem. My PC isn't top end, but the odd time 1 of the clients would freeze.

It gets easier to control them with practice, but i think some people may have broken the rules and used 3rd party software for "multi boxing."

I stayed within the rules however, the only "hard" part was getting all the accounts into the Glacor instance without getting wiped out by the ice lol.

I also used group heal to pay less attention to their HP

So where is everyone who claimed max cash 1-3 months after the event ends? :) Id be willing to bet 50b it wont reach max cash by the end of 2022. :)

Just going to quote this in case you try to pull a "Yo Blue" and come back to edit it, if it does reach max cash lol.

It's possible for it to reach max cash by the end of 2022, so who knows. last year i seen people claim that blue wont reach 50b, now it's almost 3x that lol.
