Agreed. Gold partyhat was a nice way to give everyone a chance to own a discontinued rare, and the green santa hat will (I'm assuming here) feel like you hit the lottery if you get one. I'm thinking that the green santa will be quite rare since in TH it is .15% chance to get a purple gem which could hold 50m, and if you get a gold present you will either get 50m or a green santa hat. Now the real question will be if you get a gold present will it be an even 50% chance on if u get 50m or a green santa or will it be more lopsided with a greater chance to receive the 50m over the green santa hat?

You know what else is fun? Inviting friends to the game and being able to immediately just buy them cool cosmetics via tokens that don't cost a trillion gp because some merch clan decided they wanted to exploit other players. I'm currently farming tons of gold partyhats, and I'm also hoping to get several green santa hats. And you know what I'm gonna do with them? Give them to friends, because they're neat items.

Also said that Ironmen can get Green Santas. Can't see them giving out 50m to Ironmen. So they must have a higher chance if they get the golden paper at a green santa?

People probably gave away neat zombies before the rerelease. I cannot for the life of me manage to catch Covid. Perhaps it's because I didn't get vaxxed? The travails of those lacking immunity. :(

Well not only did they not confirm green santa will be discontinued or not but they barely advertized it too. "green santa nice" Jagex did a better job advertizing fish masks imo. I need my blue charms back.

Doesn't matter, the Golden Partyhat has sentimental value to it.

It's the 20th anniversary item. This makes it special, even tho it's not as rare, it will still rise in the future, just like any rare

Agreed, these rares are in a league of their own and should not be compared. The addition of Green Santa will make santas into a league of their own rares as RGB hats.

Also since gold phats are cheap, merchers can easily buy them out. Promise ya'll there's more coins than gphats in the game lmao. This is an era of new rares and should be respected as so. The next generation of rares will be 20 years into the future at which point people in our generation will be too old to play and the people hogging the 1st gen rares such as blue partyhats will be gone by then.

You do realize current players will be 40-50 then, right? Most of us won't even be retired by then, let alone "too old to play."

Sure they can play when theyre 50-60 years old XD but I'm just saying since the 1st gen rares will eventually be phased out (they gotta stop playing at some point), guess where merchers will focus on next? The next set of available rares being santas, hweens, 2nd gen rares like gphats + green santa.
