I can't say whether or not they ever will expand the world map, but I would really love to see them do it.

I would love to see the cities actually look like cities.

I mean Falador has like what 6 'private' houses, in between the Party room, Castle, Banks, Stores, furnace. And we're meant to believe this is a Capital city home to hundreds of people?
Maybe expanding the cities total area to create more houses, spread things out would be really nice. Could even add unimportant NPCs who just look like normal residents. Just to make it feel like maybe it is a city.

Expanding the lengths between cities would look nice too. Especially with an enlarged draw distance of maybe 3-4 times the current size. Just rebuild the entire map. Also could add in more resources, and 'dangerous' enemies (Like the highwaymen, only scarier!) to make the journeys a little more.. action packed? =)

Since lodestones do make the world seem smaller, maybe they should make them unlocked via doing special 'tasks' (which would stop some people using them), or make them only usable once per time period (say 30 mins like old ht). This would make us 'forced' to run about a bit more. Could also remove some of the teleports and only go to the 'major' destinations too so we have to walk to some areas.

I would happily forgo almost any other update (except master/gmaster quests maybe =P) if they would do something about the map. I think it would actually be a brilliant update to immerse you more in the game, which is what they seem to be trying to do anyways.
If you only do what you can do, you will never be more than you are now.

Also, with the hundreds of D&Ds, various minigames, loads of quest-only locations, the game feels very cramped in among the already closely bundled cities/towns.

I mean, its hard to believe the final resting place of Guthix was within a stones throw of the Legends Guild, and the outer edges of Ardougne. If the distance was say 3-4X bigger, and surrounded by a huge forest, or hidden under some other resource (like a mine per say) then you might be able to believe it. Especially if its rife with danger so the locals wouldn't have ventured anywhere near it, making it possible for it to just 'be discovered'.
If you only do what you can do, you will never be more than you are now.

It's funny how Guthix's cave is bigger than the majority of RS cities.

To be honest, I truly hope so!

That being said, I don't see it happening anytime soon... if ever. :( It would be a lot of work and people would just ignore it all and use lodestones.

EDIT: I cannot remember for the life of me if I already posted in this thread or not; forgive me if I did.
