Seriously support... and don't just scale everything up, actually add new scenery (trees, mountains, brooks, add buildings to the cities, etc.) instead of just spacing it all out.

KEEP the lodestones for the purpose of urgent travel, however make exploration REWARDING (i.e. if you actually explore open areas instead of teleporting from place to place, you may discover special resources like coming across a fallen shooting star or something) which incentivizes people to walk when possible so-as to find a special treasure waiting for them out there...

This, along with first person view, more control over your character (wasd movement, removal of grid, jumping?), and shortening the game tick would TRULY be worthy of the title RuneScape 3.

If they don't update the current map, I hope they do it right the first time when they work on the eastern islands.

Yeah; but the funny thing is the current RS world size would be about the size of an average island lol

I hate how they're putting it off to put out "cooler" content. They are reducing they're creativity on the content by trying to fit it into the smaller places. This is a must and hope they have better for sight then to put it off till were out of room and then begin to build it.. :|

I fully agree with this concept, but releasing this seems impossible. This will require a complete rescale, greater than any project has ever been. This seems like an awesome project for employees to work on, though, but will probably by far not outweigh the players that it will attract. In fact, with the current easy-scape culture, it will probably COST Jagex players (They changed it, now it sucks!).

This should have been done years ago, by the Jagex Team when they just started (back in the days of Classic). I fear it is far too late to set things straight now.

I don't think so really. It wouldn't really affect gameplay, w/ lodestones, and it would just make the world seem more alive.

Really, the only people who would complain would be the people who "quit" because of another update and have spent more time (pa)trolling the forums looking to get other people as angry as they are.

bad move by jagex as all from what i know, many games utilize a program called "unity player" to maximize graphics and maybe perhaps used to scale their maps but what do i know?

plus, adding this would only make the lag ingame terribly worse
