Scaling up the world, as various people have described and suggested in this thread would be a huge project - not only would it require a complete redrawing and designing of the whole world but it would have enormous knock on effects to the balance and economics of the world. As such it is highly unlikely to be something we would work on in the foreseeable future*

I think it would be worth the time. Look at when rs2 came out. Everything had to be redone from Runescape classic and it was a huge project but it was worth it in the end.

I am willing to sacrifice the economy and the balance of the world just so that the world can be expanded!

Who agrees with me!?

We can take this a step at a time, area by area. It's not that hard, we can all work together and make it a reality! Who's with me!?

Yes i agree. Jagex wouldn't have to do the entire map all at once. Instead they could do it in sections. Little by little. It would def be worth it!!!

We should vote on that for the next poll :)

I have...it took me and a friend 10 minutes to walk from Port Phasmatys to the Arandar Pass....And scaling it up doesn't mea remove lodestones; it would mean keeping them because they'd actually have a use. Getting to the bank wouldn't be any different.

Seems fair. I feel like new areas/content to the current world would prove much more useful than simply scaling the world to begin with anyway.
Veteran noob.
