Smithing: I just brought that up because I thought it would be better to have both kinds of familiar for afkers and people who are more focused. The reduced heat loss means you can reheat less frequently, even with superheat form, this is still beneficial. Of course, it could be a whole separate class of familiars, doesn't have to be titans.

Herb: Yes, I agree. I just made that statement as more of a casual remark.

Tank: I forgot about that spell tbh. I don't really feel its necessary that it should be accessible to all spellbooks as it can already fill a decent niche without that, but I don't oppose it.

New post: Yes, there will be a metric tonne to cover, which is why I'm hesitant to tackle it. I'm afraid I won't be able to commit enough time to it.

Yes I did read thank you very much, including Riko's response. What you are doing is moving specs that could be put on them to your ancient titans and having them give skilling boost while retaining their, insofar, useless special move scrolls.

I have already offered a deal for negotiation in case you didn't read thoroughly yourself - I'd be happy with your ancient titans if you could at least tone down their summoning levels required to 92 for all 4 - already above the 89 needed for nihils. Nihils and normal titans all have the same level required to summon anyways so why not ancient titans all requiring the same level?

I'd even increase the bar to 95 and already am giving much leeway from my position. So what say you to 95 req for all ancient titans?

Ok I guess it wasn't clear or direct enough, but I was quite on the fence on that idea anyways. I didn't even update my list because I didn't quite fancy the idea anyways.

The idea of my ancient titans having a high level is because I thought it would be more thematically suitable if they were higher levelled than the normal spellbook titans, since ancient spells are considered higher end and are locked behind quests.

But anyways, the level requires I've put are really just for show. If its causing problems with you, I can remove them entirely because I'm not really concerned about balancing issues, not in this thread anyways. Let me know if you want them removed, because I cba to argue again if someone else comes along and tells me the new level reqs are imbalanced/bad.

Perhaps jewelry, portents/signs, scrimshaws, potions & quest items could be consumed in post 99 Summon for different effect(s) on said familiars?

I’ll just outright profess Aria is my alt and I trained to 120 summoning just to experience the road to 120 for 120 related thread.

The only reason I am concerned is the way I role played this game, though due to reasons I mentioned in my thread about toxicity and goals, it’s been 2 years since I last enjoyed interaction between my alts.

I have a total of 5 alts excluding my main:

Elysia Fulmi - lightning, 82 summoning
Aria Ventus - wind/smoke, 87 summoning
Oceana Glaci - water/ice, 89 summoning
Tellus Gaia - earth/shadow, 87 summoning
Ignacia Pyr - fire/blood, 87 summoning

I’d rather have existent familiars reworked to have elemental effects for a family of familiars due to the above. However, if you truly are insistent on making that exclusive for elemental titans then I’d much rather a lower level requirement within 99s since you got a plethora of familiars beyond 99 that only my main can handle out of the 6 I actively play on and pay memberships for. (By actively play I mean log ins within a week)

Anyway, if you want to remove the level requirements to avoid a similar confrontation, feel free to do so.
