There is nothing to diversify though. In combat you need either damage boost, accuracy boost or defence boost. In skilling you need a skilling boost. Everywhere you need convenience familiars. New familiars do nothing but fall into the same brackets as before, so they should stay between 1-99.
Sooooooooooooooooo... You're just trying your best to prove to everyone you didn't read my post, aren't you?
Did you not see the elemental titan specs? While they deal damage, the appear to do something more than just that. Wanna know what it is? Why not take a look at my post again.
Same thing goes for: Royal dragon, gemstone dragons, equilibrium (those don't affect overall damage numbers, so you can't class them as damage "boost"
, and like half of the skilling familiar, and like all of the DG familiars.
What makes this even more hilarious is... There are already familiars that don't fall into either of those categories in game. Light creature, healing familiars, BoB's, spirit pig, giant ent, meerkats, hunter familiars that can teleport you, pyrelord, etc.

To make 120 feasible I would really expect mounts that boost your travel speed and let you fly -snip-
Unless a lot of teleport options are removed, mounts aren't going to be too useful and they'll make the already small game world appear even smaller. So unless tp's are going or game world is being enlarged, I don't see the need for mounts.
And, if you're so worried about Jagex being lazy, why not suggest them to read this thread for some inspiration?

I am sure a lot of players would rather see an expansion to the skill, rather than a patch note 120 update.
Considering most ppl are nearly maxed or are already, id beg to differ.
Again with “most people”. Only a fraction of RS is comprised of maxed players so stop spewing wrong facts.
Neither of you have numbers to back your claims, so why not both of you stop.

Last time I checked, "only a fraction" and "most people" aren't numbers.
But w/e the case is, it doesn't even matter. I don't even know why this thread had devolved into an argument on whether or not 120 summoning is a good idea. This thread is simply just a collection of ideas for familiar that players would like to see in the game.
There's already another thread to discuss whether raising the level cap would be a good idea, and I would very much appreciate if everyone could keep the debate there instead of bringing it here.

There isn't a lot of variation with summoning familiars of the same race. You see things like Reborn phoenix dealing extra damage by rising from ashes you place underneath or around your enemy or forge regeant unequipping enemy's weapons in pvp due to making the weapon too hot to hold.
Meanwhile, things like fire titans just get a lazy constitution scroll shared amongst the other titans.
I'm referring to existing elemental familiars (like your ideas above), not things like minotaurs or metal titans, which all just deal deal physical damage as metals should and therefore don't need much variation.
If you want the specifics:
Ice Titan
Fire Titan
Moss Titan
Smoke NIhil
Ice Nihil
Blood NIhil
Shadow Nihil
Those 7 have such great elemental variation in name only, but boring in execution.
And no, I don't support simply changing ice titan to gale titan to keep them boring and introduce new ideas with new elements instead. There was a time I'd trust Jagex with creativity. That trust is long lost, so as long as there are lazy versions of familiars already extant, you can count on Jagex continuing such laziness for all other elements rather than incorporating your ideas 100%.
Why? Because they're used to easy coding. Rather than code for different special attacks and scrolls for each element of familiar, Jagex would prefer to simply code for one special attack and scroll for all familiars to use.
Java Gaming Expert? Sorry, 'Gaming Expert' is a title reserved only for the top of the field of software engineering - Blizzard, Bethesda (One behind Elder Scrolls Online), Riot and any console games company that actually puts in lots of effort in their work like Playstation, Xbox and Nintendo etc. Besides, Jagex doesn't use Java anymore either so coupled with the above, 'Jagex' is no longer Jagex, so I wouldn't put too much hope in seeing elemental variation in your ideas.
I'd support if at the very least the current elementals for 1-99 summoning gets reworked before looking at 120 rather than looking to build great ideas on top of a collapsing foundation.
But since supporters of 120 summoning argued why not rework at the same time as expanding summoning to 120 (I'll credit Draco Burnz for asking this), then why not include a solution for the existing elementals here as well?
Titans:
Ice, Moss, Fire
Geyser, Swamp, Lava
We already have 6 titans, 2 for each element barring air, with the bottom row having been shown much love in terms of elemental effects and variation.
I suggest just adding Gale titan to the first row rather than replacing ice directly, and have an enhanced version of that gale titan in the second row with effects. (Example: Hurricane titan, special effect: Knocks up enemies in an AOE within 5 tiles of the titan into the air for 3 seconds during which enemies become invulnerable but they cannot move nor attack. Useful for running away) this titan will require a summoning level lower than geyser.
Regarding ice, we could change that to water instead.
Secondly, I'd give some useful effects to the titans in the first row since no one uses constitution scroll anyways, namely:
Gale, Water, Moss and Fire
Eg:
Gale: Knocks back enemies three tiles and temporarily stun for 1.2 seconds
Water: Slows down movement speed of the enemy and deals double damage to enemies specifically weak to water
Moss: Armour break similar to Guthix claws spell.
Fire: Deal damage over time similar to magic combust ability
As for Nihils:
Smoke
Shadow
Blood
Ice
What effects would these have? Should we give them a weaker version of the special moves you’ve given your ancient titans? Because after all, they are all Zarosian.
After bearing the above in mind then I’ll consider accepting your ancient titan ideas.

And finally, consider giving specials like electric lash and ebon thunder a stun duration. Something like 1.2 seconds for electric lash and 3.6 seconds for ebon thunder.
It's only the section concerning elementals (barring dragons) that I care about since they are ideas based on already existing races for summoning.
Otherwise, your ideas for the new familiars are outstanding and creative.
