you hit the speech bubble button to start quoting someone. but second the issue is that capes players have had for the better part nearly twenty years in the quest capes case are being removed, they should be reincorporated into the game or left alone is what people are saying. Second, not everyone bosses, not everyone can afford TMW or dyed elite armor (like i sport). and even less of those people want to do Yakamaru which requires heavy coordination. Comp does need a rework period, how they go about it and what we think is what this forum thread is for.
now personally; I'm of the opinion reaper should be moved to trim but the rest left alone as being someone who's nearly comped can tell you, if you're not a huge pvmer reaper is one of the worst parts of the cape. Just because someone does not like pvm or want to boss does not mean they should be locked out of the end game capes, rather, we should find a way to incorporate them either with the unfinished upgradeable comp cape as i personally suggested earlier or by moving/breaking up requirements as jagex has suggested without devaluing or removing current existing gear and capes.

To be honest I don't feel you you can say you comped if you have not killed bosses. I mean does comp stands for Completionist which means you completed the game. I have not read where any of us said we don't want to work for our capes seems we already have an continue to do so or we would not still have them. We just don't want our hard work thrown away...

I feel revitalizing dead mini games would be an answer to the dead content part instead destroying our capes.

And if pvmers want a cape with stats why not give them a pvm cape instead you already have final boss an insane final boss why not give them a cape with stats then pvm issue solved as well.

Well sadly for you I don't have time, and luckily for you I already gave a perfectly simple idea of a fix and I already supported another perfectly good couple of ideas which fix it. Bb.
Now what's an unfun environment when you talk to people and see nonsense being said and stuff like that

After almost 15 years of playing this game this is the final straw. I am so close to making and now you are going to take away the one thing that kept me motivated. With the impending removal of the max cape I qui have tolerated hundreds of bone headed decisions from Jagex but no more. You have lost a loyal subscriber today. Good riddance.

Improved achievements and new capes
Oh good, you didn't leave quest/lore capes out of this. Thank you!

But you should. We know Jagex' development and that means it would take years for it to be reviewed. It's better to not leave it out of the project and come up with a full proposal instead of a < 100% one. And if it's about leaving space for future developers, don't. As a collective you're really bad at adhering to previously set creative limits, like putting a non-white artisans workshop building in Falador or the future proof easy-extend aquarium that turned not extendable at the next fishing update. Leaving options only creates aberations when looking back.

Non-stat cape bonuses

Ok yeah with Ava's retrieval bonus things got out of hand. Almost everything picks up ammo now, might as well make it a permanent bonus instead of an item perk. But it sounds a little like you're also saying players get unlimited bonuses everywhere with every item (after unlocking them). If item strategy is a goal, you shouldn't go overboard with this.

Cape stats

"Our pitch is that if you have any of the Tier-1 meta achievements, you’d gain passive +11 Armor, +3 Prayer bonus and +5 to each style combat bonuses at all times. This bonus doesn’t use up your cape slot, and would stack with any cape you’re currently wearing."

Passive also suggests invisible or hidden leading to more player-end questions as "why is this value this value? Where does this buff come from?" If the communities can't discuss items properly anymore because of unlocked bonuses that are forgotten about, you might as well write scripts to automate the player.

Training skills make you stronger in combat? Makes sense.
Wearing equipment makes you stronger in combat? Makes sense.
Doing many other tasks makes you stronger? Eehm... not without some lore like "your personal anima grows to new heights" which makes it sound like a skill.



The New Comp Cape
There seems little to no incentive to progress in one of the 5 other categories after getting a T1 category, leading back to the lack of stepping stones problem; you need something in between a single T1 and comp T1.

I propose that any 2/6 T1 categories gets you half bonuses/perks/benefits, any 4/6 categories gets you full bonuses/perks/benefits and 6/6 T1 categories gets you comp cape T1. Or 2x1 credit/slot and comp cape.

"Owning and wearing a Tier-2 or Tier-3 Comp Cape will not give any extra stats or benefits beyond Tier-1"

BAAAD IDEA. Things have to stop at some point but you can't just create the 4th problem all over again. If you get comp T1, you're done when cosmetic rewards aren't your thing.

Amount of tiers

Seeing as how area achievements have 4 categories, so should the comp capes have 4 tiers. So not 3.
