The whole thing is still too complicated.

Keep mqc, max cape, comp and trim. Make a new (bis) combat cape with combat reqs, add new reqs to trim( max reputation in gw2, all pof unlocks, Nemi reputation, etc.), rebalance some reqs from comp and thats it! Keep it simple!

On a more personal note: I'm NOT gona do those stupid achievements like killing x boss with a bronze dagger (or whatever it is) to keep my trim cape... These were fun achievements started by youtubers, I don't feel any enjoyment in trying those. I also think that a lot of achievements should have nothing to do with the new proposed comp cape (like a lot of the menaphos ones: city quests for exampe)

This is THE BEST fix to the proposed idea they have. It's so simple, yet will be very effective. Why can't they do this? They don't need to make something more complicated than what it already is.

a) Bonuses. Really am against bonuses on the slot. They'd be virtually always active but not when you're not wearing a cape. It's a bit too insanely near always-on so I say make it 100% always on. For all I care you can add another equipment slot for a collection of achievement bonuses.

b) Quest capes. Is creating a cape design a lot of work? I think not. Make 10 and put it in a poll lol. As for functionality/mechanics, I'm camp "go ahead and propose us a new mechanic". The document only talks about intent of proposing a mechanic. Implying there are only 2 options is too early at this stage of development imho. Plus that should be an in-game poll

c) Amount of capes? Did anyone ever think about a full replacement system? 6 categories, 3 tiers, 18 capes + 3 comp capes? Each with their own mechanics/boosts with radical differences (as radical as boss mechanics differ from boss to boss). How about more categories.. not combat but pvm, pvp, bosses... or less, distributing the minigame cape requirements over the other categories?

d) Scrapping completionist capes? Why do we need to stick to them anyway? Maybe we can have just the 6 categories as 6 endgame goals without the completionist capes uniting endgames into 1 again?

That is true almost all minigames are dead now. The minigames Jagex boosted during the christmas event sparked back to life for the duration of the boost though.

Also I'm still waiting for Jagex to balance Stealing Creation properly as should have been done over 10 years ago and add an increasing penalty the closer you get to the opposing side's hub. There is no fun in being base camped the entire match. It is infuriating, makes it so you can't do anything except idle in your hub, and makes me feel intense hatred of every last member of the enemy team to the point I'd gladly wish death upon each and every last one of them.

Lol, true. I've suggested a damage-over-time inflicted on players too close to the other base as well as a one-way escape tunnel into a random patch of fog.

Importantly, they need to fix the points calculator that still works with pre-EoC damage values, making PvP 10 times too effective for getting points.
