I actually agree with an "upgrade" to the Armadyl Pendant.

Temple of Ikov gives you access to the cosmetic.

Depending on the quest you release, a combat stat Armadyl Pendant would probably range between +10 to +26 (Up to tier of Glory) in some/multiple stats.

I won't comment on skilling advantages. I really can't think,of any decent ones to add.

As much as it pains me to say it, i think we have plenty of cosmetics. I know lots of people love their fashionscaping ... But ...
If you absolutely had to add something, how about a fully grown adult bird that has the same benefit as the 3 current god birds. You still need 70 summoning. Plus since it would be at a single growth stage, you could more easily add it to the pet interface (and maybe have an excuse for someone to ninja the 3 current god birds, and a few others like the raven, to the pet interface as well)

The skilling one could be an increased chance of cutting/mining logs/ores up to Yew/Adamantium. The buff would last for two hours.

The crafting one could be a % chance to retain crafting materials up to the same tier as Adamant/Yew.
So say if you're training construction there's a small chance you won't use planks, if you're smithing there's a small chance it won't use a bar. This one would also last for two hours.

Why the arbitrary limitation of only up to adamant? This is just going to make it DOA for high-level players. I’d also point out that the levels needed for mining and smithing as far as ores and bars go is going to change. Adamant ore is only going to be what, a level 40 ore?

Nonetheless, I think we are on the right track with the idea for a pendant upgrade. I’d still like it if at all possible to get some kind of a graphical update if we’re going to make it useful though—it’s so laughably out of date. And surely a graphical update to one *very tiny* item isn’t too much to ask?

Well Raven did mention Minimal graphics not no graphics. Upgrading the pendant should be ok.

Obviously once the mining and smithing rework happens the pendant would change to match the tier Adamant used to be at generally the idea is I want it capped around level 70 materials
.
Since it's a novice quest I really don't want it to be something that gives high level players a massive advantage, other notice quests didn't release a massive boon for high level players either.

It'll still be useful even if it's limited to Yew/Adamant as those items and their products can be sold pretty well.

The only reward I care about is relevant lore surrounding the Armadylean faction. I still want to know how he ascended, but that's probably reserved for RoP. I'll settle for new lore on the Guardians of Armadyl, particularly the human Armadyleans since we know the Aviansie will feature so heavily in RoP :)
To those cursed by war and pest, Come into the light of Armadyl and rest. This is the law of Armadyl.

Can you please, pretty please give us some of the weapon overrides from Bird and the Beast? I'd even be okay if we have to choose a single one from between them! I want those claws!

Take a page from WE1:
Players get 3 locations that have those metallic shards from Fishing, Mining, and Woodcutting.
(Flashback: WE1, players could harvest from a divine node when it was a silvery metallic look to get shards that would go towards making the various weapon overrides when you combined it with the staff/bow/hammer parts).
The player could harvest from each of those 3 skilling locations. The XP rates would be rather pathetic. The extraction rate would be pretty bad too (fraction of the rate that WE1 had).
The players though could still get Shattered Heart and Golden Statue Rocks, as well as chances for pets, from the respective locations. BXP would deplete as well.

Ah that does remind me of another possible reward...A new God Statue, in the shape of Armadyl, Kree'arra or a character from the quest.

Including a new Armadyl sculpting chisel.
It always annoyed me how there was no Armadyl statue, and Seren got hers with the Elf city so perhaps we can get an Armadyl statue with the bottle quest?

Hey guys,

So the Armadyl pendant requires Temple of Ikov, which whilst not terribly high level does tag a requirement onto the quest. I was hoping to set this as complete novice level so anyone can access it.

Anything outside of the amulet?
