We've been waiting for a proper quest featuring Armadyl and the Aviansie since ...when was it, 2013? And all we've had is this thread.
Gnomes have it harder: 2011 and they don't even have a thread.

Gnomes have like 3 quests already, plus their finale is confirmed as being in production and coming.
The only Armadyl content we had was a world event shared with Bandos that ended up being removed. Currently Armadyl's presence is limited to shared quests, some npcs and a dungeon mob. Even Bandos got more content than Armadyl and he's dead
It's probably why this thread is a thing, we want a proper quest that can get people interested in Armadyl and the Aviansie and explore that side of the lore.

Elemental Workshop has had it rough since March 2011 as well.
Also a multiquest series, and one that doesn't even have much lore.
Armadyl hasn't had a single quest, none, nada, zip.
You can't compare series with 3 or more quests that have been on hold to a series with lots of potential but that just doesn't get it's first quest.
Is this is even still a thing or have they just forgotten Armadyl like Akrisae and the Ambassador?
Sometimes one must operate within the
shadows
to serve the
light
. For a man makes no noise over a good deed, but passes on to another as a vine to bear fruits again in season, in order that the world may ever be new.

Gnomes don't have a boss, and I'd argue they don't have near as much lore as Armadyl has either. So its not like Arma is so terribly off and has nothing.

Gnomes don't have a boss, but they got tons of lore. Not only many quests, but questlines that connect to others, with major characters across many questlines.
Like Glough. Then the whole connection with the Elfcity storyline.
Gnomes got a lot, two major settlements, and one unreachable but clearly major settlements. Armadyl doesn't have much, a section of an icy dungeon, an abandoned tower, and an emissary that all other gods also has.
Sure he has a boss and a dungeon, but no content that makes people interested in the character. Zaros for instance, is this popular because he was built up through lots of quests, mystery, servants, side characters...
This quest would help give people an idea about Armadyl and also help develope him as a character. If the quest proved popular, then sequels could come, expanding Abbinah, adding more islands and such. Similar to how the world slowly grew.

Armadyl has alot, an entire world(be it unreachable), connections to major quest lines, tons of lore
This quest would help give people an idea about Armadyl
I mean if people don't have an idea about armadyl and what he is about through all the lore we already have, this quest won't do anything for them to change that.

You are banking way to much on this quest to change people's minds, it hasn't been put out for a reason yet, if it was as popular as to expand the world outside of what tarddiad, or freneskae, or kethsi are then it would already be in the game.
Not being a debby downer, but you guys don't have to make yourselves seem like the most pitty needed quest line when there are others that are in the same boat, if not worse off than you.

Armadyl has plenty of lore, but little is in the game or accessible to average players. And no, most Armadyl content is locked into main storylines.
The reason why the quest isn't popular is because people simply don't care much about Armadyl. Most quests and lore and such deal with Saradomin, Zamorak, Seren and Zaros.
With a few in the Goblin series dealing with Bandos.
Armadyl literally gets one mention in an unrelated quest that isn't even about him, and it's in the Temple of Ikov quest, which doesn't teach you anything about Armadyl and is actually part of the Mahjarrat questline.
Then the Guardians of Armadyl appear again in the main storyline, but the one character who is built up in that questline is killed. With the sixth age, Armadyl returns once more but his presence is limited. The Armadyl questline would still very much help people get to know Atmadyl.
